I just saw on msnbc a validictorian I think her name was britney McComb her speach was edited before she gave it.
To not include god. In her speach she thanked god for her academic acomplishments.
Her mic was cut off becuse she read her speach as it was written.
Why is our president allowed to use god in speaches and high school students arn't?
It seems that Bushes use of god in speaches has the potentail to be far more polarizing.
Why is it a strict and seros rule for students and not for teachers?
Who has what rights and why?
I'm not a rights weirdo I just think it would be interesting to know why.
Does fredom of speach really matter?

If I were to shoot a Jewish person and take his wallet I would be considered a violent criminal, but wouldn't make the national news. However if I killed a Jewish person and had a shaved head and swastika tatoos I would be considered a horrible monster biggot and probably have a high profile court tv trial. But the poor Jewish guy would be just as dead in either case.

He claims to need to stay up late so as to provide educational funding.
However he claims he is no altar boy.
He admits to having had a problem with cocaine and drinking.
Perhaps he thought he could get away with it by throwing suspicion to others around his office.
My town had a proud past but I am not sure about bright future.

If I am an independent DJ and have to supply my own music can the company prevent me from playing outside the organization for a year?

My ex ,trashed my house & hit me. He pled guilty to it. He then got locked up for shouting abuse outside my house.He pled not guilty.I have just lost his baby,and can not take any more time off work.I have told the court this. I can't go, I am too scared of him!!!

I'm wanting to run a personal ad basically telling the public that she is in adulterous and that her and her paramour commited adultery. She is so smug and shows no remorse and he has cut and ran. Vendictive yes. She did it just before our aniversary of 14 years and it hurts like hell. It seemed almost intentional and she still does things and says things that are hurtful. She is making me out to be the bad guy to her family and friends. I just want them to know because I think It's payback time.

I heard about this happening recently, and I'm curious if this is legal. It seems fishy to me:

1) Person has an auction. They insist that a certain item sell at, say, $100.
2) A person at the auction bids $50.
3) Bidding dries up at $50.
4) An "undercover" auction-employee, pretending to be an auction attendee, throws out a bid for $60, to get the bids up closer to $100.
5) No other bids follow, so the sale ends at $60 and the auction-employee "wins" the sale.
6) After the sale, the undercover auction employee gives the item back to the seller.

Is this situation legal? Can an under-cover auction employee jump in to make a fake bid, just for the sake of elevating an item's price? It seems fishy to me, but I'm curious. Posting this under legal, since I'm not sure where this should go. Thanks.

Two area boys spray painted 666 on some of the statuary at a national shrine. This was on June 6. Is this a hate crime or no? And what punishment do you think the boys should get? I'm not sure, but I think that they might have got let go. But for a while it looked like 4 years in prison, and now they might receive NOTHING! Shouldn't they at least have to pay for the damages?

I entered into a contract with a health club, for a minimum of a year. I joined for my children to use the gym etc...however I was not told at the time the limitations to the usage ie at certain times only etc. It is therefore usless to me and I think it was mis sold to me. I tried to cancel my membership and have now cancelled my direct debit to the company and have written many letters etc. They do not listen to my point and just site contractual duties. Do they not have the same duties to provide the service offered? I am at my wits end, as even the area mananger is ignoring me...except to threaten me with legal action. What are my rights ?

if a victim chooses to make herself unavailable in a rape case, can the prosecution, by ;law be allowed to present any physical evidence. and is there a law that states that the victim has to face the accused for a successful trial?
