Does the guardian have to have a court order to bann someone here in Florida?

I believe it has to do with mental or physical anguish. You just cannot ban someone because you don't like them or have a personal vendetta against them. And yes the laws are different for every state. Contact your legal aid department in your city.

I think that if you have to go so far as to get a court order, that things have gotten out of perspective.

Perhaps the guardian believes they are acting in the best interests of the patient. If so, maybe you should stop the fight.

As far as i know if you are the legal guardian you just have to let the nurses know on that floor that there are ome people not allowed to visit and they should put a sign on the door telling a visitor to come to the nurses station before entering the room, then the nurse will let them know they can' t enter
