Vigil for slain officer attended by illegal immigrants.
http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/ss/local/63683.php
Nick Erfle, a 33-year old, eight-year police veteran, was shot and killed by 22-year old Erik Jovani Martinez, an illegal immigrant, Tuesday morning.
"We want to remind all of Arizona and the nation that this crime had nothing to do with the legal status of that person, but rather his criminal intentions," said Phoenix resident and CEO of Immigrants Without Borders Elias Bermudez.
Tuesday morning Arizmendiz called into the radio show The Voice of the Immigrant hosted by Bermudez, and asked Latinos and illegal immigrants to attend the evening's vigil in support of Erfle's family.
"We are here to show that we do not agree with this criminal activity" when they are asking people illegally here to attend?
Am I the only one who sees this as wrongfully exploiting a tragedy to further their agenda?

THIS IS MY COUNTRY!

And, because I make this statement

DOES NOT mean I'm against immigration!!!

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE ONLY IN MY COUNTRY if you

come through like everyone else has.

Get a sponsor!

Get a place to lay your head!

Get a job!

Live by OUR rules!

Pay YOUR taxes!

And

LEARN THE LANGUAGE LIKE ALL OTHER

IMMIGRANTS HAVE IN THE PAST!!!

AND PLEASE DON'T DEMAND THAT WE HAND OVER OUR

LIFETIME SAVINGS OF SOCIAL SECURITY FUNDS TO YOU

TO MAKE UP FOR ''YOUR'' LOSSES.

If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone,

then YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

When will AMERICAN'S STOP giving away THEIR RIGHTS???

We've gone so far the other way ... bent over backwards not to

offend anyone. But it seems no one cares about the AMERICAN

that's being offended!

WAKE UP America !!!

Get caught coming in...mulligan. A bus ride home and a next-day-do-over - check. Make it through and get caught, appear in Court, get a hearing date, skip bail...mulligan. Check. Find a place to live in a safe city, get sick, get free care and meds at the local ER - check. Find a job, get 10 X what you could have made at home, pay no taxes, get cash under the table - check. Have kids (marriage - optional) at the ole ER (paid for by the locals). Put them in school (paid for by the locals) and refuse for them to learn the language (spoken by the locals). Get them into college free or at a resident's tuition rate (paid for by the locals) - check. Come on hard times along the way, need food or shelter assistance...maybe some help with the electric bill (paid for by the locals)- check. Make it to retirement, receive Social Security and/or disability until you die (paid for by the locals) - check. Leave whatever's left of your "estate" to your survivors, tax free and with no State intervention...check.

All I have to do in exchange is what? Vote Democrat? Phhhhht...I'll do it as many times per day as you want, man...so long as you all keep that "no ID required" gizmo going...

I was cooking this meat and then I had to go to pray and then to tutor a student. My father is not home yet, but he will be here any minute.
If I go to the American embassy here in Egypt, will they give me a refugee-visa and offer me protection?
Answer quickly. I am sitting in the living room of our house in full-disguise but I am afraid he is going to recognize my face because the two of us live alone together.

What laws would you be willing to allow me to break? Nothing more than those that would help me make my life better. For instance, if I just wanted to rob you, would that be ok with you? I’d only be doing it to give myself a better standard of living.

let's say that this country is about to give all the "illegals" a legal status in this country! just the ones that are already living here!

because I have read answers like - " they can go back to their country and apply there"

but

what about if they don't have to go back? Let's just give them the visa

Would you agree?

I just want to read some racist answers

It's a pretty minipulitive bill to force Puerto Rico to vote for statehood, which they have avoided in the past.
They pay less taxes and get all the benifits now.
It would be the first state to largely speak Spanish.
It could provide some work force advantages.

if all people coming to this country spoke English, and none of them claimed that any part of our country was theirs?

I think these are among people's biggest concerns.

But what do you think? What concerns you most about illegal immigration?

Dear All, I got my H1-B approved visa from USCIS this summer and applied refund for Premium Process fee. The refund check was issued and sent to my lawyer 3 weeks ago. Even though my visa case was closed and I made the whole payment to my lawyer few months ago, my lawyer suddenly emailed me a expense statement 2 weeks ago and said that I have to make the rest payment in order to get the refund. Is there any way I can deal with this mean lawyer? Thank you very much for your sharing.

Statistics aside...being more illegals from Mexico and Central America...when you think about illegal immigration in the US do you also picture Asian/Africans/Canadians/Europeans?

I met a couple of Canadian who were working here illegaly but nobody noticed because of their white skin. They even got their licenses and a fake SS number to their employer and nobody verified it but when a Caribbean when to apply for the same job they checked her paperwork thoroughly. Besides being discrimination that made me think that some people are relating more and more their concept of illegal with brown. What do you think?
