Statistics aside...being more illegals from Mexico and Central America...when you think about illegal immigration in the US do you also picture Asian/Africans/Canadians/Europeans?
I met a couple of Canadian who were working here illegaly but nobody noticed because of their white skin. They even got their licenses and a fake SS number to their employer and nobody verified it but when a Caribbean when to apply for the same job they checked her paperwork thoroughly. Besides being discrimination that made me think that some people are relating more and more their concept of illegal with brown. What do you think?

Tom...you need to learn how to read. Thank you for your input, and no I'm not racist and that is why precisely I brought up this subject. I have nothing against Canadians or any other race as long as they are legal

tunavamp you haven't seen any illegal Canadians because you probably don't live near the Canadian border. I do, as as I repeat I don't have anything against them as long as they are authorized to work in the US!

I personally picture all nationalities, given that I know (or know of ) people who came here illegally from Ireland, Canada, Mexico & Poland. (Don't jump on me - some of this knowledge is several decades old).
But, with the statistics that we've all seen, our current situation has more illegal immigrants from Central America and Mexico.
It is logical (if unfair), when told that a high percentage of a certain group is illegal, to have higher suspicions when dealing with that group. If you were told that 1/4 of all purple people are gum chewers, and 1/150 of all orange people are gum chewers, to have higher suspicions that the purple people are packing gum.
Yes, people who conform better in terms of accent, dress, culture and more likely to fit in and less likely to be suspected.
Incidentally, the big immigrant story in Chicago is about woman deported back to Poland - she had a business, a home, is married to a citizen and has blonde hair and fair skin.

The city in which I live has a large population of illegal immigrants that are from Asian countries but lets face facts overall totals for illegal immigration are 57% from Mexico, 24% from other parts of Latin America, 9% from Asian countries, 6% from Canada and Europe and 4% from Africa and other. Are people really so shocked that some peoples first thought is of a particular group when it comes to illegal immigration?
Enforcing our immigration laws however should apply to all "colors" of illegal immigrants regardless of how few of that particular color or group we have here in the United States, enforcement should be equal across the board.

It has nothing to do with color of skin. The reason the Mexican's are notice so much is because we have 19 million illegals running around on our streets. We don't have that many Canadians running around here.

Yes, I also think of other nationalities when I think of illegal immigration, but I've directed my displeasure more at the illegal Mexican and Central American ancestries just because of numbers, so the negative effects are more easily seen.
There isn't a color to illegal aliens. It's easier to be an illegal alien if you are white and speak English. If I were in Mexico, it would be easier to spot me, a white, English speaker.

I think (correctly) that the huge majority are from Mexico, South American and Central America. You can infer from that what you will. I have yet to meet illegals of any other nationality....however, I don't walk around asking. Instead, I watch the raids and the rallies and pay attention to who is being removed. So far, I haven't seen any Canadians, although I have seen a couple from Pakistan...but to be fair, if you post their names, addresses and employers, I'll be happy to report them, as you should have done.
I find it appalling that so many who espouse "pro-illegal alien" viewpoints here are trying to make us think that European illegals are notifying them in droves of their status. Although I'm aware that there ARE Asian, African and European illegals who come here illegally and overstay, they don't seem to want to be so "vocal". I find your assertions unlikely.
Me? I'd report any illegal of any color.

First of all you can't put statistics aside.
When 51 percent of the foreign born population (illegal and legal immigrants alike) are from Central and South America, that group is goign to be discussed more then other immigrants from other regions.
By the way asians represent 25 percent of foreign born residents while Europeans represent 15 percent.

yes, to most Americans illegal is the Mexican on the street corner.
I once worked with a white Turkish lady who told me she was brought here as a child, she has a license, social security card , an American accent a house, kids and all that but has no legal standing. She never tells anyone this.
Then I know a white south African and Caribbean same similar story, and lots of other Africans who came here as children have similar stories.
Dont judge a book by it's cover.

Well, I haven't seen Canadians peeing in the streets or protesting with their flags.
This is more about NUMBERS!
I just did a search and the marxists now have a new name to try to silence us - hispanophobia! Will they ever get a new play book.
