If an empoyer needed 30 people to pick fruit, he could notify an agent in Mexico, send a bus to pick them up, work til the jobs done, bus them back, if there is only 29 on the bus, he gets fined for one. These would be legal immigrents only.
Just a thought, what do you think?

SAN DIEGO -- County supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to send President Bush a $101 million bill to reimburse county taxpayers for what a new study found illegal immigrants cost them last year.

Armed with the study, supervisors also voted to enlist the help of U.S. Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Solana Beach, to promote legislation that would:

Make it easier for local law enforcement officials to track illegal immigrants wanted for crimes.

Change the Medicare Modernization Act to pay local hospitals for unpaid bills for illegal immigrants -- $155 million in San Diego County according to the county study.

Find a way to make the federal government pay local governments from the Social Security "earning suspense file" -- a fund into which illegal immigrants pay $7 billion a year and do not collect, according to the New York Times.

Local governments in border states have repeatedly said the federal government's failure to stop illegal immigration has cost them billions of taxpayer dollars in services rendered.

Supervisor Bill Horn, who championed the county's study, said he did not intend for the board's vote to be a symbolic gesture even though previous "illegal immigration bills" sent by the county to the federal government had proved to be just that, and have not been paid.

"I just don't want to grandstand," Horn said. "I really want to have the money."

Bilbray spokesman Kurt Bardella said that although Bilbray was not currently sponsoring legislation that would address the county's concerns, he intended to do so.

JACKSONVILLE, FL –- An illegal alien who hit and killed a Jacksonville karate instructor while driving under the influence of alcohol was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday.28-year-old Marliano Alberto accepted the sentence as part of a plea bargain. The judge also revoked his license for the rest of his life.Police say Alberto was drinking and speeding when he crashed into 27-year-old Russell Nevado’s car on A.C. Skinner Drive last April.Nevado's family, friends and students filled the courtroom Monday for the sentencing. Several people spoke, including Nevado’s fiancée, Sherry Mendoza.
"Russell represented the meaning of being a true angel,” she told the courtroom. “He lived life to the fullest, putting thought and effort into other people, his family and himself."Nevado was a black belt karate instructor at his family’s studio. He and Mendoza planned to get married, start a family and open another karate studio.

His mother, Marilyn Nevado, broke down in tears as she described the day police showed up at her door to tell her about her son’s death. She says that she didn’t believe them until the officers showed her his driver’s license.

"It felt like my chest had been stabbed many times and someone ripped my heart out of my chest," she said.

She said their family hasn’t been the same since Nevado’s death, but she hopes the sentencing will help them move forward with their lives. Still, she said, burying her son was the hardest thing she ever had to do.

"With no hesitation I would have given my life for my son to have lived longer."

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orange County deputy who was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Interstate 4 on Tuesday died Wednesday night.

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary announced that Deputy Michael Callin was removed from life support and died at 7:25 p.m., WESH 2 News reported.Beary also said that in addition to his severe leg injuries, Callin suffered serious brain damage from the collision.Police arrested a man on Wednesday who they said ran down Callin on Tuesday. The suspect left the Orlando Police Department just before 5 a.m. to be transported to the Orange County Jail. He was found just after midnight and officials said he's responsible for running over Callin at I-4 and Kirkman Road near Universal Studios.
Officials said on Wednesday that Callin's leg was amputated below his knee.

Before Callin's death, Allan Barahona, 19, of Orlando, was facing charges of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. He was found at an address in the 5500 block of Cortez Drive in Pine Hills.

"He is from Honduras, but he has been living in the States for quite awhile. His driving record, from what I understand, is pretty bad, and he has multiple suspensions. I don't know how many, but from what I understand, quite a few," Orlando Police Department Lt. Brian Gilliam said.

Barahona was booked into the Orange County Jail.

The incident closed down I-4 at Universal Orlando on Tuesday afternoon and armed officers searched every car leaving the park while they looked for the driver.

"I just got off of work, and all I want to do is go home but I can't," one driver said.

"It's a little odd to see the guns drawn and everything, but I can appreciate what they're doing," another driver said.

Law enforcement officials have been keeping a vigil at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where Callin, 26, underwent two surgeries. Adam Pierce, who was shot and paralyzed while searching for a drug suspect last October, stopped by to offer his support.

"From the times that we did work together, he was a hard-working guy. He's not one of these typical gung-ho cops that everyone sees. He's a laid-back guy. He does his job. He works hard, and he's a good guy. We're all hoping that he can come out of this better than I did and make it back to work full-time," Pierce said.

Callin was a four-year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and he came from a law enforcement family. His father is a 27-year veteran of the department and his sister is a student at the police academy. http://www.wesh.com/news/9613306/detail.html

Why do people keep saying this? Do you guys know what an ITIN is? Illegals do pay taxes with this number. Also if an illegal wants to be legal they have to show prove they have been doing their taxes. Most Illegal immigrants have an ITIN to fill their taxes (they want to become legal one day) and even though they didnt had one, taxes are subtracted away from their pay checks. How many people do you think are getting pay under the table now this days (please provide proof)?
Also Illegals pay sale taxes, and also the buy things here. illegals dont steal you job, they take what we have left, what we dont want.

Illegals are just doing it for the LULZ.

Is it just as stupid to say I love Indian people as to say I don't like Indian people? cause i be lovin some Indian people-from India. They are the immigrants we need, they flourish wherever they go in hard work and wealth and bring good businesses to the area. They make where they live in america better and don't try to create mini calcutta on the streets of LA.

then name 4 negative effects they have on USA.

Also, can you name any residual effects postive or negative that the children of illegal aliens will have on the USA once they are of school age and beyond.

I would like the answers here to be more factual rather than hyperbole.

Remember Jim Jones - another nutty white cult leader

About Applewhite.. was in the early 1970s, and people who knew him then said they saw no omens of the zealot Applewhite would become. But for reasons that were unclear, and with a suddenness that was equally mystifying, he was seemingly transformed into someone else from 1972 to 1975, a budding cult leader with beliefs in aliens and Armageddon.

Applewhite and a female companion, refashioning themselves first as Bo and Peep, and later as Do and Ti, set off on a nomadic adventure through the Midwest and West, preaching their unorthodox gospel and beckoning people to prepare with them for an ascent into the stars. It was that journey that apparently led to what happened inside a million-dollar house in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., where the bodies of 39 cult members, who had committed suicide, were found on Wednesday. Late Thursday, the authorities determined that the body of Applewhite, 65, was among those recovered from the house
