NIce question in a way. Depends. I feel that if an illegal does commit a crime, they should be punished for it, but if this punishment isn't a lifetime sentence, when they are free, they need to be escorted back to their own country. Why should we just let them walk back on our streets, knowing that they don't do anything to deserve to be there? Someone needs to speak up!
