This American thinks that they do. And the President and the illegal immigrants actions are speaking to me loud and clear.
Want to show them how to boycott and shut down a country, until you are heard loud and clear?
Write and email your mayor and tell them that you are joining the Just Vote No campaign, and that until the real issues of the people are addressed. I have limited space here so if you want a copy of the letter to send to your mayor, and then take the next step. send a copy to your congressmen, and let them know they are next.
If you want to be heard on the issue of Illegal Aliens, then close your wallets to all who speak little, if any English. If they migrated here through the proper process then they speak English. Maybe, slow English, but they still speak English. Close your wallets to companies that hire illegals, in your local area you know who they are. I think it is. The government isn't doing anything effective to solve the problem of illegal immigration. In fact, they are making matters worse with proposals like a guest worker program. Making English the official language is just a way to pacify angry American voters, so that politicians can keep ensuring a steady supply of cheap labor for greedy American businessmen, who are betraying their country for profits.

There are plenty of other people from various countries here that are migrating. Alot of mexicans are legal here. The only people that can and do not hate immigrants are the NATIVE AMERICANS. That's right, indians, not you and not me. Just in case, I'm not mexican. I was born in the USA and my parents are from Puerto Rico.

I dont understand why foreingners move to the States and then talk about how much they hate this country/Americans. They don't want to learn English and they want to change all the civil liberties and beliefs that founded America (pledge of allegiance, Christmas etc...) I believe that if someone chooses to move to a country that they should try to assimilate to the ways and customs of that country. If you hate the country so much....why even live there? Either stay in your own country or go to a country that you respect and honor.

Mexico is considered to be a complete joke. It has almost the same landmass and natural resources as the US and Canada, yet it is a pathtic 3rd world country. You whine about how you can't do anything, because you are afraid to risk your own lives. And don't give me any crap about how I don't know how it is. I fought in Iraq. It wouldn't even take an armed revolution to improve Mexico, just a united front like we had during the Civil Rights movement. But you are too lazy or cowardly to do that. So you run away from your problems. Then you whine that we are racist when we want to secure our borders.

I constantly have to read that the common man has no hope in Mexico, that the situation can never be changed and that they have to come to America. Nonsense. They need to use that machismo they're so proud of to take on the power structure and have a real revolution. The US didn't get to be the greatest country in the world (Canada and Australia being a close second and third) by just rolling over and taking it. We took on the most powerful military in the world at the time, The British Army, in the Revolutionary War. Those who fought to free Texas took on the Mexican Army when it rivalled the best armies of Europe.

Right now the Mexican army is a joke, why can't Mexicans take control? They need to stop having the Mexican Attitude that the world is the way it is and can't be changed. They need to adopt the American Attitude that the world can be made better.
