Most Americans are so law-abiding that it goes against them to "protest in the streets"....aside from sites like this, letters to the editor, talk radio, and my one vote....what do I do to make a strong statement to our leaders....
Which organizations (except for the Minutemen, which everyone knows about) should my familly get involved with to help preserve our nation from invasion?

Our leaders are selfish and have an us versus them (rest of the population) mentality. So, an issue has to be worth their while for them to listen.
If it doesn't affect them, why should they secure our borders? In fact, any of them can be a hero by leaving the borders open, allowing a mishap or security breach, and then proposing or enacting legislation to correct the issue.
Our leaders are reactionary, except when it comes to waging wars.
If the borders were 100% secure, they could only be blamed for a breach, so why set themselves up for the blame?
Voter apathy is so high, that our leaders have very little to worry about other than making a big mistake.

Continously e-mail your senators and congressmen, over and over. Then be sure and VOTE for the right ones. Make sure they are NOT for the senate immigration reform bill, which allows the illegals amnesty. Watch for any amendments. Stay informed.Talk to family and friends, let them know how you feel and why, get them to do the same thing.

I know of two other organizations who are fighting for the AMERICAN people!!!! Grassfire.org and also F.A.I.R. (federation for American immigration reform!! You can sign on-line petitions against ILLEGAL immigration, and they also keep you informed of what's happening in congress!! They are ALSO the ones placing the "STOP THE INVASION,SECURE OUR BORDERS",billboards that are going up around the country!!

The hearings this summer and contact your Congressmen. If you can't make the hearings contact your Congressmen about WHY.
Also, I don't think anything final will happen until after the election. Your vote will be a good message. However, if you don't contact your Congressmen they won't know the reason for your vote.

lou dobbs will tell you which senators voted for amnisty and which ones didn't. grassfire is a petition, SIGN THE PETITION to keep illegals out. stop the invasion. you have to write your senators often, explain to them that anythying other than complete deportation is amnisty, and you will not support someone who supports amnisty. you must write your senator, or he will SELL OUT AMERICA.
