I have seen a few whackos in every organization, but it seems to me that the Minutemen have brought this issue to light and now they are taking all the "heat" for "not being nice to the (politically correct term here) undocumented imigrants...otherwise known as the illegals.

i have heard a lot of people on here talk about the immigration laws and my question is: there are illegals of every nationality here in the u.s. so why is most of the discussions directed towards hispanic people?

how much value does your property have right now? not much. how much value would your property have with NO illegals next door, junking up the neighborhood, with their bright pink and blue houses?
your property value will skyrocket. that's what would happen. it definately COULDN'T go down, unless illegals move in next to you. fifty kids per household, three cars in the driveway, none of them run, sofas outside in the lawn, and thousands and thousands of cheap garage sale lawn ornaments.

they would have to agree to repay all those they have victimized (identity theft, car accidents they were uninsured for, ect), as well as repay hospitials and doctors for services received...and pay their share of public taxes for use of schools, fire departments, police departments...you get the drift....How much, beyond restitution, would be fair in order for them to be allowed to stay?

Their government has know for years that immagrants come to this country on a daily basis for years now illegally., in hopes of a better life. Why don't they make it better for their people? Or are they just concerned about how much drugs they can expedite on a daily basis.

What's your answer on illegal immigration, what should be done? Do you support the House on enforcement, or do you think amnesty is the right answer? Is Mexico doing enough to work with the United States as an effective partner on crime and illegal immigration, if not, what else should Mexico be working on to clean up our cross-border relations?

"The unusual decision to set a new round of hearings on legislation already passed, places a serious roadblock in the drive for Bush's immigration reform". "This is EXCELLENT news, for those of us who believe we need to concentrate on enforcement first," said Rep. J.D. Hayworth.
Rep. Tom Tancredo said."The nail was already in the coffin, of the Senate's amnesty plan. These hearings probably lowered it into the grave"!!!!
The other AMNESTY IDIOTS,such as Kennedy,McCain,and Specter (to mention a few) are all CRYING in their beer!

I've read a lot of the answers here, and you say Mexicans should stay in their own country and make it better.

I'm in Mexico, and with no intentions of going to the U.S. to live. I work full time here, I have a baby, I'm an honest and good citizen with a normal life. I need to work to support my kid. I agree that the government is SO corrupt here, so what do you suggest we do to change it? Maybe we need a second revolution, but just like me, there are millions of good and honest citizens, that don't want to die trying to change an entire corrupt system (which wouldn't change anyway), we'd rather live than die knowing that nothing will change.

So besides a revolution, what do you suggest to the mexicans staying in Mexico, to do?

Note: I don't agree nor support illegal immigration, but I also don't agree nor support racism. I do support human rights.

Please reasonable, non hatred answers.

It's no secret that I am anti illegal immigration. I still hold to this belief.

I am getting a bit p*ssed off at individuals in this forum who bash all Mexicans.

Everyday, I deal with the military and, in case you do not know, Mexicans and Blacks make up a huge part of our military. They are going to Iraq risking their lives which needs to be acknowledged.

Please stop bashing all Mexicans and focus on the problems that illegal immigration of ALL races are causing. Thank you.

if they give ANY form of amnisty to the illegals, i think everyone else who has commited a crime should stand up and fight for their amnisty.
come on bank robbers, thieves, murderers, rapists, and anyone else who has anything on thier record. stand up and fight, if they give amnisty for sneaking across the border and bringing in diseases, one little bank robbery shouldn't keep you from getting the same job the illegals get? right?

More tripe. They lost Texas when Santa Ana signed it away like a ***** to save his own life. Also, the most oppressed group in Mexico are the indigenous people and I don't see Mexicans aplogizing for taking their lands. Mexicans never held territoryr in Ohio and Nebraska, where they are currently flooding into. What's their excuse there.

"Illegals are doing the jobs that Ameriacans won't do" is this huge assumption! How will we ever know if there are MILLIONS of illegals here doing them. Let's put that assumption to the test, send all illegals home, now, and see if those jobs don't get done. Who wants to bet what they are trying to say is "Legals won't do the job illegals do for the pay that the illegals work for"? Big difference! Any arguments?

Mexicans always talk about pride, but it's a very strange type. Mexicans want to fight if you bump into them in a bar, but their whole country goes down the toilet and they just shrug their shoulders and say nothing can be done. Real machismo would be to fight to improve their country, not just give up on it and skulk away.

Has any of you who ***** about illegals EVER read the US laws on immigration?
I did. The only ways to become a citizen is to marry someone for papers or to win a lottery. Adoption works if you have no living parents and you are under 18...
So all this whining " oh, they should come legally" is nonsense!!!
