NOT ME. Actually the only person who I've ever heard make that argument is myself.
Caucasians came in and wiped out Native Americans, and now they won't let decendents of neighboring Native Americans in? That's messed up, I think. Immigrants just want to work for you and they are paid less than they would be if they had been born here. It's not like they came in and did nothing and took everything you treasure without paying for it. For the most part, immigrants get paid less, and whatever they earn here they spend here.
The US is doing a bigger invasion by establishing US companies across the world, which only benefit American owners. And rarely does anyone say anything.
But since Bush is sending so many troops overseas and to other worthless causes, there will soon be a population shortage and immigrants will be even needed anyways. So just keep waiting.
LOL, JK!!
But oh well, people needed someone to blame everything on, didn't they? What can anyone do about it.

It is a very very bad arguement, just because our ancestors have did something bad (OMG wow what a shock, all of our ancestors did bad things!) we should feel guilty about it?
We live in the USA, the USA must protect its borders. It is a very lame arguement to say "Well you don't have a right to complain, you're an immigrants! The natives own these lands"
1) Natives were defeated years ago, as much as you may cry and say its not right-- it happend. In those days it was the days of conquer and command.
2) I am not an immigrant.I was born in the US, and am a US citizen. I have every right to be here, just like the natives.
3) Every american has a right to free speech and to complain about an invasion of illegal immigrants.

Yeah...it is such a bogus argument. The pro-illegals have such little to go on they have shown that they will do and say pretty much anything to make it seem like they are "educated". So called "native Americans" are against illegal immigration if this forum is any indication. Here in Arizona many many residents of "reservations" proudly fly the American flag on their houses. Your question shows how the illegals and their supporters have NOTHING but a "feeling" to support their position.

Well, it's just pointing out the hypocrasy of people who rant and rave on this topic, when their parents or other ancestors were obviously immigrants at some point.
However, I think it misses the "illegal" point. A lot of those previous ancestors worked long and hard to become citizens. Many assimilated and learned about their new culture. I am uncomfortable with the percentage of illegal immigrants that refuse to do either.

Note the blanket label instead of Sioux, Comanche, Klatsop, Apache, Navaho, 'native americans' is just another blanket label like 'illegal immigrants' that obfuscates and blurs the issue.
'native americans' lost the wars that were fought in the formation of the United States Of America. They lost. Mexico lost a war to the United States Of America, too. If you look on the maps, and see where the territorial boundaries were drawn, then re-drawn, and then finally drawn again, you can see where american expansionism forced all other players either to convert, leave, or die. It's a bloody history that makes up america, and the worst part is that there's a bunch of liberal apologists out there catering to these people trying to sell them on the idea of trying to get 10 more dollars out of the government somehow. The wars are over.
But, preserving the Union goes on and on, as there are those both inside and outside our borders who've made it their solemn purpose in life to try and take another chunk out of the United States, whether that chunk be finanical, or physical territory.
Suffice it to say that Congress is probably constantly beset by the hand-wringing self-anointed proxies of disenfranchised people who've by and large been given a red carpet treatment for years, but are no longer satisfied with the size of their entitlement checks. That's why I think it's a superlative idea to abolish a lot of entitlements, let's get things back on a cash basis, somehow, and close the books on some unpleasant chapters in american history instead of trying to re-live them....

Science says Native Americans came over the land bridge. Just who are the Scientists? The White Man. They will say anything to bolster their land stealing ways. We were put here by Great Grandfather. By the way, I'm an American Indian not Native American. If you have a problem with that, take it up with Russell Means.

I'm about 2% Native American so I guess I can complain about illegal foriegners about 2% of the time. Please stop calling all of them illegal immigrants. Immigrants come to the USA and stay here not money grab and go back. Ok gokart, I'm about 2% Cherokee!

Hell yeah! lol They just keep grasping at straws, don't they? Then in the next breathe they will say some lame crap like "I am Native American. I just speak Spanish." ....and they wonder why everyone thinks they are stupid. They have used every b.s. claim and argument their little brains can think of. They aren't opposed to making up what they believe to be facts as they go along. I have noticed that as well.

if you were BORN here, you are AMERICAN, and you have EVERY right to complain about illegals. it's not about the "land" it's about principles and morals. they obviously have NONE. they're just thieves and liars, who use the most useless excuse to support their argument, which has no substance to it at all.
oh, by the way, i AM native american, american indian, and i was BORN HERE.
it doesn't matter if your parents were immigrants or ten generations back, if YOU were BORN here, YOU are an AMERICAN.
on the same argument, if you were born in mexico, you are MEXICAN, NOT AN AMERICAN.
