"Illegals are doing the jobs that Ameriacans won't do" is this huge assumption! How will we ever know if there are MILLIONS of illegals here doing them. Let's put that assumption to the test, send all illegals home, now, and see if those jobs don't get done. Who wants to bet what they are trying to say is "Legals won't do the job illegals do for the pay that the illegals work for"? Big difference! Any arguments?

To angela_R, so what if the prices "skyrocket" it's called economics, we would learn to pay those prices. I may not be willing to do it personally, but that doesn't mean nobody is, like I said, it's a huge ASSUMPTION that those jobs won't get done. THINK WOMAN!

ok i am answering this question because we are all a nation of immigrants. the only people here first were the native americans. i am of hispanic desent. i don't agree that we should deport 11 million imigrants back to mexico, but i do believe that something should be done. some of these people have lived here for 15 or 20 years and i don't think we should just expect them to pack up and leave. as far as jobs are concerned there are a lot of employers who pay for mexicans to come over here and work for them. i know this from experience. i don't agree with that but i know it is happening. a lot of the jobs that hispanics do the americans won't do, such as picking beans , or peaches, or oranges etc. in 90 or 100 degree weather and not get paid that much. i know i would not do that type of work for what they get paid. i am also not dumb to the fact that there are jobs that the americans would do if the hispanics did not have them, but that is where the government comes in. they can't even enforce the laws they already have so i don't think making new laws is the answer unless they are willing to enforce them. i have a feeling when things settle down then they will go back to not enforcing them again bc that's the way it usually works. so i'm on the fence on this 1 bc i understand both sides of the arguement. i just hope we can come with a peaceful solution, and not have it turn into a race war.

Mendi8a, according to your logic we should get rid of higher education and education as a whole, because even when someone is more qualified for the job(such as speaking English, and being a citizen), the other person is more deserving because they are willing to do it for less. I am willing to do brain surgery for less than a trained brain surgeon, so I guess I am more deserving right? What a moronic statement you have made. You will stoop to whatever depths you can to support illegal aliens won't you?

angela R- Another economic idiot. Prices are set by supply and demand, nothing else..... If you don't understand that, then I feel sorry for you.

Send them home.
And about the farm jobs illegals do They do not do them around where I live yet. The farmers including me pay high school kids above min wage to do the job the illegals are doing for "lower than min"and the the price of our produce and goods are the same as every where else. Go figure.

Um, you mean 'illegal immigrants are in america doing the jobs that americans USED to do', to be blunt, and honest on the point, americans are slowly and deliberately(purposefully) being supplanted and replaced. Think 'invasion of the body snatchers', and you'll be well on your way to understanding the subterfuge at work, here. Remember that great slogan, 'por la raza, todo'?
That's generally on a par with the muslim sharia thing, meaning 'all for us and **** YOU'. What americans need to do, more than anything, is READ more. Turn OFF the golf channel, or the porn channel, hang UP the phone, and pick up a newspaper, something more than once a month, too.

No argument here. You just described exactly what the economics of this issue are. Bush is being a condescending ***-hole when he uses the "Illegals are doing the jobs that Americans won't do" line.

Girl, I have no arguments. I say send them all back to the flea ridden country from which they came.

To the person above me:
That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The person who abides by American laws deserves the job more than the person who disregards the law, break into our country and steals from our economy.

I dont know if all the work would get done, but I think he who is willing to do the same work for less pay is more deserving of the job!

Ricky, they cant get the job unless they are qualified!

I totally agree with you. These employers that hire illegals to work for them probably only pay half of minimum wage. If that much

amen too, but I also believe companies have a quota to fill with illegals so, this is why some of them are doing the jobs they are doing. not because they want to, but because the companies hava quota's to fill.
