Is he hoping we will all think he is a great guy and that we will forget the mess Blair, with his blessing has made of this country. We all accept the mainly friendly football rivalry with Scotland but we should not allow politicions to use the game to divert attention from the many failures made by this corrupt government in the UK. I know the England footie fans and our canny Scots rivals will not be fooled by this latest Brown ruse.

OK I get it, the war is bad (or at least I think so based on what you keep saying). You have had control Congress for more than a month now. Why are we still there? Congress has the Constitutional power to end it today. So why haven’t they? Either it’s a good war and they are just complaining to hurt the President. Or, it’s a bad war and you are keeping it going it to hurt the President. Democrats, VOTE TO STOP THE WAR. This is not a game, either keep it going or stop it.

I have to defend a resolution I have created for my college to change the requirements for our student body executive offices...so please answer the following questions:
1. has there ever been a president in recent years (like last 30 presidents) that did not have any political experience before their election?
2. if so who?
3. would you vote for a president that did not have any experience or know procedures?
Thanks!!!!

If you'd like to see my resolution, email me but it only affects my college :)
Thanks again!!!

since this is just for a college level... political experience, I'm not really interested in military experience

My husband and I were recently made redundant. I am in the process of starting my own business (very early stages) so haven't actively looked for a job yet. I have never claimed any benefits before and have paid my stamp since I was 21. I want to know if I am entitled to any form of benefits/monetary help from the government. We have a mortgage for £100,000. No children
We live in manchester, UK.
If anybody can let me know what I may be entitled to claim
and how I would go about it, that would be great.
