Another liberal feel good waste of time. Remember, for liberal democrats it is more important to feel good about yourself than to actually accomplish anything.

Your assuming the Demoncrats even believe we are at War and that is the root of the problem.
The World Trade Center destruction and the nearly 3000 lives lost that day had just about as much effect on the Left as a Popcorn Fart.
Only those who were truly moved emotionally by 9-11 and their Love of our Country have lifted a finger to do anything about Terrorism.
I must be fair and remember that the vast majority of Politicians now abandoning the Troops were the same who with their vote gave President Bush the Authorization He needed to wage this War.
Of course when their public image and career were on the line their priorities became all too clear....Of course the Presidents did too.

It is always easier than to complain than to devise a solution. When the emphasis is "fix the blame" instead of "fix the problem", this is the type of result you will always get. This is another example of why the approach in Congress just doesn't work in the real world. Merely identifying a problem about 10% of the solution. In the business world, the successful ones are those who come up with the other 90%. This "resolution" plays well in the media, and political gain and public exposure are more important than accomplishment to most members of Congress.

The war is over! Now we need a plan to get out of there & one that the rest of the world won't feel that we cut & ran again!
Do you suppose that the Democrats don't want to get our people out of there as soon as is possible? They are trying to find a Humane way to bring our people out but are we to leave a country that we have brought to distruction without looking back.
Those countries around Iraq are watching us to see what we do with the mess we have made. We can try to leave them with a good impression of us or as a nation that doesn't care. Those countries do matter.
We have started to help Iraq rebuild their own infrastructure, so
that they can begin to support themselves. This is working. We must do more of it. We should do as we did in Germany after the 2nd W.W. Help them get on their feet & not leave them hopeless. This worked in Germany; it will work in Iraq.
