It was a joint venture 79-19 so many Republicans voted for the same reason. Currently the right thing to do is to close the borders in Iraq. Then concentrate efforts to stop the bombings in the market places of Iraq. My question is how many markets have to be destroyed before some intelligent General says I think we need to stop this.

So the Congress spent all that time and money to make a vote of "No Cofidence". To what end? It isn't binding on President Bush, just a bunch of "children" having a temper-tantrum at the taxpayers expense!
Why don't they do some real work....like closing our borders, or helping private business find new fuels, etc, etc?

If they really cared about the troops, they would defund the war NOW! The Dems hate the troops, so they gladly let it go on so they can blame it all in Bush. But they are in control. Shame on you Nancy and Harry.
Funny you mention that garyb1616, I was just telling my dad and girlfriend that I am going to change my home state of record to my duty station state (despite a $3K State income tax) so I can walk in to vote. My home state threw out all the military absentee ballots, thank-you, and thank you, I will not be going back there (PA, and yes, big suprise I am a Republican, but PA will not be enjoying my impending retirement, nor the property tax that they love from retired military dupes).

No they voted no confidence in Dubya, as did the country in November, the dems love the soldiers and want them home safe not fighting an ill conceived war that helps recruit Jihadists and makes our Country less safe

This is just the beginning, next they will probably try to block the overseas voting in 08, like Gore tried. but they will repeat the mantra "But we support the troops" It's like hearing when you are on the receiving end "This is going to hurt me more than you" yeah right.
