We hear alot of talk about Iraq and the War on Terror, but what about the forgotten war? The War on Poverty has been waged for DECADES and cost untold TRILLIONS of dollars. It has only created more poverty than every before, and there is no end in sight. Talk about a "quagmire"! Isn't it time to cut-and-run and finally admit this is a war we cannot hope to win?

There have been no benchmarks set to determine progress, there is no timtable for withdrawl. This is an endless suckhole for federal dollars, and as a taxpayer, I believe we have better things to to with our money.

I like the fact that he is standing up for his constituents. This is what he is supposed to do. However, his government appears to be growing more corrupt and dependent upon us. How does he walk that fine line? Is he a leader or a puppet?

If you honestly believe that Bush and/or the Government deliberately planned and carried out the attacks on 9/11, then why on earth do you still live in here? If I thought that my government killed 3,000 of my fellow citizens I would emigrate as fast as I could.

What does citizenship in America mean to you?

This week Tony Blair declared 'war on global warming' in one of his speeches.
He pledges that Britain will lead the way in being eco-friendly, and that the way to fund this is the so called 'eco-tax'.
What do you think. Is Tony Blair sincere in his efforts to save the planet, or is this merely a PR attempt designed to raise more money for the government to spend on things they've failed on...like immigration, education, the NHS, pensions and general state welfare..

I'm really glad to hear the worst is behind us. It looked dicey there for a bit and I almost believed the naysayers who said he got us in over there without a cause and without a plan and that countless lives have been lost due to his ineptness and the Mr. and Mrs Cheney's lust for blood.

Those democrats will have to eat their words now that peace has been achieved.

It's time to have our president appear on an aircraft carrier again to say "Mission Accomplished because we are still there, so we must be winning."

Kerry said: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Republicans need to realize that liberals hate the military. If we allow Congress to be overtaken by the Democrats, we will surely see this war underfunded leaving our troops without the tools they need to keep them safe or win the war. Get out and vote for a republican and show the troops you support them.

Think about it....

1) its time consuming, especially in the small packets
2) It is messy and tough to get out of clothing if you spill it
3) Ketchup has steadily incresed in price over the past 50 years
4) It is using our natural resources quicker than other products
5) It is taxable
6) It tastes great and occupies your mind
7) It covers up the snout particles in hot dogs
8) It keeps your mind from wandering
9) If you spill it on a tax bill you cant see how much they charge
10) It is governed by the FDA for more profit

Obviously, the government want you hooked on the stuff. They encourage you to eat it since you were a kid I bet? ME too!

Lets put our feet down and boycott this stuff! Pass this along to everyone! Make fliers! Tell everyone you know!!

Thanks alot

In a democratic society, the majority rules, even when the majority of voters are dangerously uninformed ignoramuses. What good does that do for our country?

For 2007 the military was given a 2.2% pay raise. Whereas the average cost of living increase is 3%. Seems pretty unfair that we are deploying so many of our troops for over a year at a time and exposing them to extreme danger and then not rewarding them for being the small minority of our population who volunteers to protect the rest of us knowing full well of the possible danger.

Do ants vote for one another to run their hill?

What if they vote for a stupid ant and he messes everything up?

50% of the ants around me are "below average". Why do they get to decide my future?

Doesnt it make more sense to have in place a a system (queen) thats designed to govern the colony - and that does a great job at it?

If you dont understand my analogy - please dont answer.
