Being free to give our opinion without having the power to change anything isnt really a democracy , it is an illusion of a democracy to make believe the masses ...Not being able to stop a useless war is enough to prove that we dont have a democracy. First of all a democracy is agaisnt wars especially like the one in Iraq who made a lot of sufferings and thousands of dead people for nothing.

This is the same state, which Bush visited and made speeches of helping farmers (agricultural sector) and also women, to support themselves...Of course, it is not Bush's job to improve the lives of our farmers, it is the job of my A.P state Govt. Slogan of our country quoted by our freedom fighters is' "Jai Jawan - Jai Kisan" (Hail the Soldier - Hail the Farmer), then why the farmers are killing themselves? Why does the Govt. does not stop this ?

Texans seem to be the majority when answering political questions. Thank God, they are not as stuck to their political party as my family in Texas. We get into some cool debates over politics. I am in Michigan and they are in Texas. They do not even admit to knowing anyone from Michigan because we are so liberal, Not the point.
Why don't those from other states answer political questions as Texans?

It's like elementry school, the bully is being gained up on, now the bully high tails it to "diplomacy"! The thinking of this president is something that everyone is afraid to ask in fear of what, haveing a country to say is theirs after he is out of office.

You know every once in a while you hear the annoying beeping sound then after like 40 seconds it says 'this has been a test of the national emergency system' or something close to that. What is that for exactly? For things like natural disasters or things like invasion?
