There was the Triangle Shirt Factory fire in NYC, then a bad fire in Binghamton, NY about a month later and good things came of it.
Another fire in Chicago traped people behind doors that opened in and now doors open out.
There has got to be a way to make something good of 9/11. Someone should at least try...............

“But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce then under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.”- Declaration of Independence – Sorry, I had to steal it.

I feel that means: When you find something wrong with North Dakota being the least violent state per ca-pita that doesn't help the rest of US. It is your duty to not be a couch potato your whole life and get some passion in your life and do your best to get rid of them to the French Canadians and drive the Bloody British out of The Monarchy of Pennsylvania once and for all! Thereby obtaining a star for Pennsylvania and no sewing will be required.

I don't mean this as some joke or whatever. But are we actually being watched by the government (and maybe governments of other countries)?. There is google earth, but do you think the US government could have something like that but with actual live images, like a web cam, so they could zoom into any place on the planet and see what's happening below?

And what about our computers? Do they have access?

Who can make this stuff up? The American President, our president and supreme commander, flies half way around the world to Jordan for a meeting with the Iraqi leader. On the day of the meeting, a memo from the President’s national security advisor appears in the NY Times trashing that very same Prime Minister.

The article also insists that the US supports Mr. Al-Malicki. Mr
Malicki is not pleased. He cancels the meeting beFore Air Force One even lands.

Could you imagine the scene on that plane. Oh, the humiliation, oh the heads that will roll. The press is all over it.

Should the US get another envoy to negotiate -- like Senator Jim Webb?
