Is it possible to make something good come out of 9/11?

There was the Triangle Shirt Factory fire in NYC, then a bad fire in Binghamton, NY about a month later and good things came of it.
Another fire in Chicago traped people behind doors that opened in and now doors open out.
There has got to be a way to make something good of 9/11. Someone should at least try...............

there has been much good that has come out of this tragedy. People are learning what their rights are. And finally are fighting to keep them. We have learned that perhaps some parts of this planet have good reason not to like our government. We are learning that we have the power to right wrongs. To do the right things for the right reasons and not just what is politically expedient. We are learning tolerance and understanding of other cultures and faiths. We have started talking and when people talk wars can be avoided. Do you need more? Not all good can be seen or held in your hand. Sometimes the greatest good is intangible.

I think many new laws have been passed to prevent us from being "blindsided" again. Although, people may feel they're living in a police state I prefer tighter restrictions on who gets a pilot's license is helpful; should have been enforced long before. Hopefully, people will question motives for far more activities than that. I don't know if that's the "good" but it has definately caused an awakening in general.

Something good will come from 9/11

The entire transformation of lower Manhattan is taking place, where it will one day become a destination point for world travelers.

What was once known for tall offices in the sky, will become a complex of world markets and a memorial.
