There is one black -- Barack Obama.
There are three Latinos -- Ken Salazaar, Mel Martinez, and Robert Menendez.
There are two Asian/Pacific Islander -- Daniel Inouye and Daniel Akaka.
There are currently no Native American Indians. The most recent one was Ben Nighthorse Campbell, who retired 2 years ago.

Understand that the only one is due to the fact that he ran for senator and got it.......Don't make it sound like you don't have to be elected for the job of senator,!,,,,

NOT ENOUGH! Americans are still generally racist and would never allow a black president. I think if Obama came close or did it they would ruin him in some way.
