Yes. With the "proof" of WMD's and with the Republicans in control of congress, most of the Democrats voted to invade Iraq. Clinton did, and she now says she apologizes. Obama did not. Most Democrats are able to CHANGE DIRECTION when the circumstances change. Many Republicans are only able to shout "Stay the course!" even as their proof crumbles beneath them, Scooter Libby is on trial for perjury in pushing the WMD story, Douglas Feith admits to doctoring the information, and CIA warnings that the WMD information might not be accurate were ignored. Bush knew all that. The Congress did not.

Well, the truth is that there was plenty of evidence regarding WMD: http://www.pentoon.com/wmd.htm

But that evidence didn't just from the U.S. Countries around the world also thought Saddam had WMD's and reported such. Bush didn't knock down the towers, make up the WMD theory or order the hurricanes to hit Louisiana.

Am I off point? I'm sorry. I just find it amusing that everything from a broken nail to the end of earth as we know it can be Bush's fault. For people who really hate that this guy is in power, they certainly give him control of their life pretty readily.

As for "all the dems voted against" use of force statement someone made earlier. Actually, 29 Dems voted for the use of force, 21 voted against in 2002.

Voted twice, that is new on me, I know he said he would come back after his little lies at the United nation , but I don't believe he ever made it back, may have. But, it still doesn't excuse the fact that he lied to the Senate and the Congress to get those votes.
He lies about his own lies, he just can't seem to stop telling falsehoods. His mind doesn't work right because he just tells one lie to cover up the other. He says God told him to be President, God told him to go to Iraq and kill all their people, kill our troops and maim the others beyond recognition, Never knew anyone that God came and talked to , did you?. He is a 8 year old bully, he always says we caught all these terrorists, no we didn't do anything. He sits up in that office making out like he is reading with his glasses on, what a phony he really is, so if you think a person that can't even see that a preemptive is breaking the 2nd Constitution is so great than that is your privilege. Dream on Dreamer, your party is lost in the wild and will never find their way back, so come what may, Your a bunch of losers, so cry, cry all you want how great your party is action speaks louder than words.

Are you referring to the Iraq War Resolution? That resolution did NOT give him authority to use force as a first resort. He was supposed to have gone through certain steps, using force as a last resort:

The Resolution required President Bush's diplomatic efforts at the UN Security Council to "obtain prompt and decisive action by the Security Council to ensure that Iraq abandons its strategy of delay, evasion, and noncompliance and promptly and strictly complies with all relevant Security Council resolutions." It authorized the United States to use military force to "defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions regarding Iraq."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War_Resolution

We now know there was no threat to the US from Iraq; we know we were lied to about WMDs--check out what is going on at the Libby trial about Niger yellowcake and the outing of Valerie Wilson. Any vote given based upon falsehood is not a valid vote; it is completely justifiable for Congress to question the President on his actions.

yes... and about 90 percent of the reasons Bush said we were going to war... were wrong...

WMD made post gulf war, war would pay for its self, we would be greeted as liberators, it wouldn't take that long and on and on... basically everything Cheney said on Meet the Press before the war started...

it's like I'm selling a bicycle... you want a bicycle... I tell you all the great features it has... and how fantastic it is...

then you give me the money... and I give you a set of handle bars... and nothing more... no wheels, body or seat...

you say "but this isn't what you said it would be"... and I say "then you shouldn't have give me the money, it's your fault for trusting me"...

basically, we learned not to trust Republicans anymore... how could we have ever been such fools?

let's see if we trust them again? my money is on NO...

The democrats don`t like to admit when they have been fooled. Besides isn't it the dem`s job as a representative to "We the People" to change their minds with the will of the people?

It's a strange thing they have going on there. It isn't really forgetting and it isn't really choosing to ignore these things almost like not having a sense of reality. They make it up in their heads the way they want it to be and it becomes just that.I'm not sure how they do it or if I did I wouldn't have so many problems in life!

Yeah, but I voted for it before I knew what it was so I could vote against the fact that I was mislead into voting for it (or something like that). Ask Billary.

I recall that not even 10% of them voted for the use of force while all Republics voted for it.
