While communism is the control of business by government, fascism is the control of government by business.

My American Heritage Dictionary defines fascism as "a system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership together with belligerent nationalism."

Hitler's propaganda chief Herman Goerring once said: "It is always simply a matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

Benito Mussolini's insight was that "fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."

Isn't the shortage of doctors the main problem with Canada's health-care system because they lost many Doctors to the USA where they don't have to treat poor patients but only the patients whom they choose?

Can the same be said of Britain India and a number of other countries where doctors aren't allowed to extort "your money or your life" profits from frightened sick patients?

Look around in your USA hospitals, clinics etc. and see how many doctors are from India, England and other such countries?
Many of them, like in India, were educated in medicine by their socialist government, and they then abandoned their country and fellow-citizens for M-O-N-E-Y in the USA.

Dept of Homeland Security. Talk about a worthless boondoggle.
Talk about building the barn after the horse trampled your kids.

And a couple trillion in war costs for their no-bid corporate sponsors, to go and steal oil for their oil-cartel partners.

(Not to mention crumpling up the Constitution into a spitball)

Yikes!!

A wise person would be ashamed of living in a country with him as president. However I would like to know the reasons why we should despise him. I personaly think that he is just an average guy, and therefore unfit for political office.

In New York City, or any other busy and complicated Cities, do you have problems reading the road sign from certain distance?

Today I drove to New York City and when I stopped at a stop light, I was looking for road signs to see what route I needed to go on. The road sign was allll the wayyyy to the next side of the road, and the road sign was so small. I could not see the damn sign, so I had to go through the intersection before I could see the road sign, which was already too late.

If they were, the US Government would crack down hard instead of allowing blood to be shed on the nation's streets. Instead, resources are being spent on "Al-Qaida" which means "the base for students" in Arabic; Most of the members of the above street gangs are old enough to be high school or college students.

I am very disalusioned with mainstream politics these days as I am sure many of you are too. My dilema is this... I am getting drawn closer and closer to joining the BNP and have voted for them in the last local elections. I believe that they are the only ones prepared to stand up and fight for old fashioned British values. My sister in law is black and born in England and in no way do I want to appear to be racist or be part of a racist organisation, but I feel that we cannot continue taking in freeloaders from other countries, we have enough of our own. Do you consider them to be racist ?

Parliament which has been elected has no real power. The highest Court of Appeal in this country can be overturned by a Foreign Court. need I say more

When they are born with a handicap or disability? I understand paying for their health care and I am completely for that, but why do they get to make an income off of this before they are an adult? A normal healthy child does not make money why do these children? I cannot think of one reason why a child under the age of 18 should receive SS or disability.

Instead of going to war in the middle east and dumping billions of dollars into an economy that is totally self destructive why dont we call back our troops and send them into mexico.
Use our military might to
1. wipe out the drug trade
2. wipe out the corruption in thier gov.
3. give them a country they can live in. (They already have a thriving tourist base)
Perhaps by doing this we can wipe out the illegal imagration problem, boost the U.S. economy, Take the strain off health care, reduce drug related and poverty related crimes.
The middle east is a lost cause we need to focus on the U.S.
Face it the middle east is never going to stop fighting but perhaps we can make things better here if we refocus our efforts. What do you think?

I've been writing letters, and E-Mails concerning a situation from a previous state job to heads of the department in which I worked. I get little if no response, and no course of action has been taken. I guess ignoring me would make their job easier, knowing it's almost impossible to get in contact with the Governor, or anyone that can make a difference.

Anyone got any ideas on how I can get in touch with Political Leaders of West Virginia to help settle the injustice I received?

I can't help feeling sorry for Bush. His legacy has gone down the trash can. His failed economic policies have lost millions of jobs. His healthcare and social security policies have been a nightmare. He refused and failed to send an appropriate amount of troops into Afghanistan to apprehend Osama Ben Ladin and Al- Quida, instead, getting us stuck in Iraq. He is arguably the most unpopular American political figure of all time, in the eyes of the world. He has turned nearly every country against us, and raised Anti American sediment around the world to alarmingly high levels. He can't even convince Senators and Congressmen in his own party to vote on legislation he wants passed (Immigration bill). His polls have dropped to a 26% approval rating, and Democrats and Republicans alike have lost complete support for him. Bush’s administration will go down in history as a complete failure. You can’t help but feel sorry for the idiot.

Puerto Ricans are already citizens of the USA. They elect a Governor just like in the 50 States. They have a non voting members in Congress. So lets make Puerto Rico a State. They will then have the full Rights and Priviledges as their follow American citizens. They can then vote for President.

why are we comparing ourselves to Canada or GB, or France.....we pay more than twice what they pay........

if we're shelling out that kind a dough, we should have a system that is far and away better than anyone else on the planet........but we have people dying on our emergency room floors, and patients being dumped on skid row,,,,,while doctors order C-sections because its more profitable for the hospitals

and lets not overlook the fact 60% of working Americans cannot afford healthcare--------AND 92% of all personal bankruptcies are the result of an illness of a family member or the wager earner of the family
