If they were, the US Government would crack down hard instead of allowing blood to be shed on the nation's streets. Instead, resources are being spent on "Al-Qaida" which means "the base for students" in Arabic; Most of the members of the above street gangs are old enough to be high school or college students.

That is exactly what they are. Frankly, I do not understand how Bush can be so concerned about terrorist on the other side of the world, but can not see it in the neighborhoods of America. I believe when we learn how to deal with this domestic terror, we will also learn how to deal with terror abroad. If it is worth it to combat terror in Iraq, it is also worth it to combat terror in LA, El Paso, NYC, and any where else it is found. We can not be strong abroad if we are not strong at home.

Yep.
As is the Christian Pro Life movement, PETA, Greenpeace, Black Panthers, KKK, Ayrian Nation, and any other "organized" protesting organization that will resort to physical assaults and violence to express their point of view.
People just choose not to look at things that way because then it "likens" the rest of the world to the facists from Islam; it makes it harder to defend their hate that way.
I am an equal opportunity hater - I hate anyone that thinks it is fine to kill innocent people to further their agenda. Maybe that is the real reason I dislike the Bush Administration so damn much. . .

According to the new laws(patriot act, etc), essentially any organization that previously fell under prosecutions for organized crime also now qualify for prosecution as terrorists.
They wrote the laws too broadly.

since we keep sending young good people to war our government shopuld take all prisoners and gangbangers off the street put them all through major boot camp and send them out to die for a real cause instead of allowing them to keep killing innocent civilians
