Hi!
My brother, who lives in South Africa with his fiance(he lived in England for 5 years), is coming back to visit this Christmas.
His fiance is and has been disabled from the waist down for near a decade now.
The point is: we have requested a disabled badge for the duration of their stay, and we were rejected! According to the two different official organizations we spoke to, only people from within the EU, or people who have lived in the UK for 3 years can get the badges!
Unbelievable!
Isnt this against some laws!? Surely it is!
thanks
Matt
oh---Merry Christmas!

I mean it wasn't the Mormons who started the Inquisition, ran the Crusades, burnt witches or operate the Ku Klux Klan (yeah, I'm looking at you Mike Huckabee,) nor were they involved in the Holocaust, the 30 Years War or a thousand other atrocities committed by Protestants and Catholics in Europe over the centuries.
In fact, it may be that Mormonism is one of the only decent forms of Christianity that has ever existed. Maybe you ought to be adopting whatever it is about them that keeps them from regularly getting involved in the hateful garbage that bogs down so much of the rest of Christianity.
Nobody's religion gets to be immune from scrutiny and criticism. NOBODY'S. If Huckabee thinks he can attack Romney without having to play defense, he better think again ... or does he think he walks on water?

If you paralyze someone in self defense, can they turn around and sue you for damages? If so, what are the odds of getting out of it?
Ethically, my actions were justified as my life was in serious risk.
I also didn't get charged with anything for the same reason.

I can not speak for others, but in my case, I am not inclined to believe it when some king, shah, president, chancellor, prime minister, emperor, or grand poobah, tells me that it is my patriotic, or religious duty to sacrifice my life to advance his ambitions.

What are your feelings on this?

What happens when you go to court for your first misdomeanor offense in GA? It is for loiterring and concealed weapon. It is his first offense. When he got arrested he got out on bond and now goes to his forst court date soon. WE are both clueless as to how all of this works.

in essence im asking, who if you had to pick one would you pick for president. and don't say neither because we all know they are both very bad already. but if you had to pick one who would it be? me personally i would pick Clinton because Obama's view on foreign policy is horrible. he would start a war with his ideas. such as invading Pakistan without the permission of the president.

I'd like to know what U.S citizens think.
Do you think it would be better if the president had to choose his cabinet from amongst elected officials rather than the current unelected system??
Please give reasons for your thoughts

Seriously, I had a disturbing dream the other night- I talked to Guliani. I asked him this same question - he smirked, and said Republicans won't win. I am a true paleo-conservative. I have been against this "war" since its inception. I just want to know why Republicans think they can win with this "war on terror" tactic when 7/10 americans are against it. Furthermore, 35% of republicans are against it. If republicans were truly scared of Democrats winning the Presidential election - why wouldn't they embrace someone like Ron Paul or have more options like Ron Paul's antiwar stance.

Granted their pay award is paltry but so are the rest of the public service awards are,nhs ,mod, fire service and ambulance service , the trouble is none of the above signed a non strike agreement and are represented by trade unions , however the police are not and a strike would be classed as illegal so who would bring them into line , what if the govt brought the army in to do their job like they did with the ambulances and fire service how would they feel ?? Noone as we all told in these services are indespensible!

Ok heres the deal. Me and my Girlfriend wanted to move out. My dads house was not being used so he let us rent it. My girlfriends sister was getting kicked out of the room she was renting so i let her stay in my dads house. My girlfrinds sister is a pothead so i told her, i dont care what she smokes just not on the house. Well they broke the rule and i told them they had till the first of next month to get out. next day my girlfriends sister's boyfriend decides to bring his friends and smoke on the house, so i want to kick the sister out and her boyfriend immediatly. he says i cant legaly but we have no contract or nothing. i was letting them stay in a room if they help pay rent. so can they be kicked out legaly?

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/pressass/20071212/tuk-force-parents-to-work-say-tories-6323e80_1.html

Please read this. It says they want to force parents back to work. I don't think this is fair. I have an autistic son who I am having great difficulty finding necessary childcare for. These idiotic, tax grabbing, fat, incestuous, public school bum f*cked, lying, stuck up pratts have no idea about how difficult it is as a single parent on bare essentials. They don't care how much harder it will be for people like me to fully support my son. I don't get any maintenance from the father. I had job but had to give it up due to the autism, the nursery couldn't handle him.

Do you agree that we should be forced back to work?

Hillary says, she will pay $5,000 for each child's savings. Note: you cannot touch that money. Now, the democrats are coming up with a plan: If you have more than two children, you will have to pay $5,000 for each child on your yearly income taxes! What do you think of this plan? Not to mention that since Hillary has been a Senator for NY. She has spent over Five Hundred Million in Pork.

Isn't that cute? He blogs about stuff like this:

"The behavior of U.S. government concerning the people of other nations is very ‎supercilious and slighting. Part of the increasing hatred toward the U.S. government ‎that we witness across the world, is due to the U.S. statesmen disdainful and ‎oppressive position and behavior."

I guess he thinks he will touch the hearts of the US mainstreem youths as he is now a blogger? Now, I find it interesting that he himself blogs, yet his people are not allowed to. The other thing I find interesting is the column on the right where people respond with their comments. Does he not know that this is how a blog works? The comments are astounding both ways. I am not supplying the link because we don't need the little lefties running to the link and spouting everything as truth as they do with moveon.org. It's not hard to find though... I figure most won't take the time if it isn't readily supplied.

What do you think?
