If I cycle my bike and I have had a few drinks, is there a set penalty? Can I loose my drivers license and can I end up in court?

I the mother, has FULL sole physical and legal custody.

My ex the dad, has "supervised visitation only"

He has never requested any information as far as health, or school records, he doesn't even visit more then one time a month and he has no reason he cant. He is not involved in their lives if at all not much. I was wondering if i'm legally required to provide him with ANY information or if im only obligated to make sure he get's his visits with the kids

a co-worker of mine has a son who is 18 yrs old and had a dr's appt at a time that he was in class. when he went to sign out he was told he had to have a parent sign him out. i have been in law enforcement for 5 yrs and have a bachelors degree in pre law and the law here in texas as i understand it regarding the legal adult age is 18 unless they are mentally incapacitated to make sound judgements. i couldn't find anything that clearly stated this so i could print it out and give to her for future reference.

Huckabee's record in Arkansas isn't conservative, except for social issues which aren't going to mean much in the Whitehouse, it's not like he can personally overturn Row vs Wade. The you got Guliani who is basically a liberal except fiscally, but he is an open borders guy who will not stop illegal immigration. Either one will be helpful to liberal causes, not real conservatives. Who are the real conservatives that the media dismisses?

Ron Paul.
Tancredo.
prez and vp

by the year 2020? Now that seems like a bit of a stretch of development time, considering JFK anounced that we would land a man on the moon and return him safely back to earth in less than 10 years at a time when the US hadn't even put a man in orbit. Now I'm not an Einstein but it appears to me that the difficulty factor would be a bit higher to develop the technology to land a man on the moon and return him safely to earth in less than 10 years than it would to increase fuel efficiency in automobiles, but for some reason we are giving the auto manufacturers alot more time. Could it be because the oil companies have a VERY strong influence on the American Government? and perhaps someone should look at the politicians' stock portfolios as well. Not making an outrageous accustaion here, I'm just saying.

If only people would stop behavior that causes TB, like breathing behavior, and coughing behavior, we wouldn't have tuberculosis in third world countries like Kazakstan. Someone teach those people to hold their breath already!

I know what the law in my state says about garnishments and child support coming out of my check. Child support comes first out of my disposable income and can be up to 60%. The most a garnishment can be is 25% of my disposable income, but only if the child support doesn't exceed 25% and then it can only be an amount equal to 25% minus childSupportPercent.

Well, it seems I fell through the cracks at my local court. I pay the full 60% in child support, but I pay with personal check rather than have it come out of my paycheck every week. The lawyer I was working with on an owed debt knew all this information but put a garnishment order through anyways so now I pay the 60% in child support and the full 25% in garnishment. Is this legal based on some sort of loophole? The lawyer knew my situation and has taken advantage of the fact that my child support doesn't come out of my check. I want to take care of the debt, but can't live off of 15% of my paycheck every week. Any help?

"In a statement timed before the start of trading in New York, the Fed said it planned to offer $40 billion in emergency funds to banks next week"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071212/ap_on_bi_ge/fed_credit_crunch

It appears that Bush's Fed is only concerned about the market's quarterly earnings which is NOT the proposed function of the Fed.

Every new suicide bomber incident that kills a whole bunch of Iraqis in Iraq only proves that our soldiers need to stay in Iraq or the whole place will be one huge mess. If we have a period of a month that goes by in Iraq where violence seems to be down and there are no major suicide attacks, then this proves how important it is to keep our sodiers there in Iraq as they are the ones curbing the violence.

Is there a name for this logical fallacy?

A question was asked on here about 10 minutes ago, where a girl asked if AIDS was a behavioral disease. Unfortunately, many uninformed people said it was not, as some people get it from blood transfusions, infected spouses and parent, etc.

Well, just to set the record straight, every person in America who has gotten AIDS NOT from sex or drugs accounts for only 2% of AIDS cases! 2%!!

http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/topics/surveillance/basic.htm#exposure

That's almost as silly as people saying abortions are not done for convenience, when only 7% of abortions are done for any other reason.

I am sure that 2% of the men under Hitler's regime were good people. Does that mean all Nazi's were good people?

Can someone explain this to me? What date did we decide that 2% of a population adequately represents the whole?

And can SOMEONE tell me why AIDS is not a behavioral disease? The numbers say otherwise!

I am curious as to whether or not you can get in legal trouble for breaking a terms of service agreement (or nondiscolusure agreement). I am mostly talking about the agreements you agree to when you sign up for beta tests or play online video games.

For instance, could somebody using hacks in CounterStrike or Everquest have anything happen to them other than getting their account suspended? I'm almost sure that nobody has ever been brought to court over such a case mainly because it isn't worth the time or effort - but is it possible?
