Canada or Italy. And can not think of two countries that would be better neighbors. Although I am sure there are many others that would be just as cool.

Mexico is not a good neighbor, which is too bad, since it has some very nice places and the people are nice, it's just their government and well meaning, misguided U.S. do-gooders encourage them do disregard U.S. laws and sovereignty.

To be selfish, I would say Canada. Only because I now live in the South and my family would be closer to me.

I wouldn't change the geography, I would just have Mexico be a BETTER neighbor. One that wouldn't encourage their people to illegally cross our border and break our laws.
