you might find this answer some offending, but it is reality.

India is the largest democracy with most of it people living in poverty,
our country has a great unmatchable past but now this democracy provides independence to only 10 % of people,

people are dying in lack of food, thousands of farmers sucided in a country where it national slogan was rather still is 'JAI KISAN JAI JAWAN'

children are working in farms, industries and a lot of bad activities.
there is still 'minoritism' in our society, infact the diversity is not the unity of our country, but it is same as it is "the diversity".

because this diversity gives the chance to politicians to play their bad politics, leaving innocent people dying.

the true measure of a country's name, respect is isn't the membership of any rubbish society or organization,
but raising is countrymen to a new high where others will follow us,no one will die because of poverty, lack of food, children will not suffer from malnutrition, where people should be recognised by their work and personality not by caste or relegion.

we have wasted almost 900 years in this ativities, lost our oldest univarsities, colleges and eventually got under control of foreign powers.

India being a largest democratic country, it is very sorrowful that it is not a permanent member of UN. Generally, if u see the permanent members of this UN, we can notice one thing that those countries who had very close relation once & having close relation with USA now & those countries which has highest population & powerful became the permenent member.
After the second world war, Russia held good relation with USA by defeating Germany. So, countries like UK & France also were the supporters of USA in the WW-II. So combination of these countries made UNO. but after some years, russia went against USA. So the USA want to keep a check for Russia in Asia. So the only country which is near to Russia & can defend Russia in all the ways is China. So the USA made friendship with China & provided permanent membership for china. But we indians are always against USA policies. US thought that india will never support them. So they are against to provide permanent membership.
But the countries like UK, france are supporting us. even though, they all are in vain. Since India is having all the potential to become a permanent member of UNO, the opportunity is not provided by the UN members.
May be in future, India will get the permanent membership in UNO. A day will come where at that time, USA will depend on India. At that time india will get a permanent membership.

India used to be not an unbiased nation when the United international locations used to be created in 1945. Permanent seats have been created then for what were on the time probably the most militarily powerful countries within the coalition opposing Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan. It's silly to say that is shameful. Better to abolish the everlasting seat/veto nonsense.

Correct your spellings......it's "democratic".......another is....."shame".
Who said that India is not a permanent member of the UNO? The fact is India is not a permanent member of the Security Council.
It's good that India is left out and ignored. India doesn't practise true democracy as is understood by civilised world. India is very immature and very backward in all respects.

I agree with you.

But look at who the deciders in the permanent UN board are...

also Brazil, Germany and Japan largely contribute to world peace and are successful democracies... but the existing permanent members do not want to lose their influence based on their past situation.

Largest democracy with a lot of domestic issues.
Needs to be govern by the minority for positive
changes.
India has a long way to go in this world.
Too many people are under poverty.
Thats not a good democracy.
Lets be real with each other.

India is a pseudo democracy.

In every foreign channel news they add a sentence, 'Brahmin dominated Indian politics'. If it is true democracy, the politician should be equal from all castes.
