(1) why you call liberals/Democrats Socialists &/or Communists?
(2) why that is an insult (in your opinion)?
(3) why socialism~ or something similar~ is *inherently* bad--NOT by giving me examples of awful leaders from each of these...

THANKS! I am really just wondering, so no need to attack...

I have been trying to modify my child support order for three months now. Initially when I reopened my case i did so because according to how they were garnishing my wages they stated that i owed 22,000.00 dollars. I then madeseveral trips to the courthouse and paid a 50.00 fee to reopen my case. since then they have done nothing but mismanaged my case. they lost my file mind you my x has our children one of which i had solely by my self for 4/12 years and never filed for child support. Also i had to fax proff of my administrative fee being paid in full(50.00) because it was never "docketed as paid" which i faxed proff today. These people in this circuit that run the courthouse correspondance for the family law division are so under qualified and incompetant. . After my printout for childsupport was handed to me it showed 8000.00 in owed inall. who can i file a grievence to? OVER THE JUDGE.I have since lost my job and became homeless because of the overgarnishing they have been doing

I see this all the time: I'll pose such and such question, ("Why is Bush condoning waterboarding?") and receive a response along the lines of, "You're just a Bush basher!" in reply.

To a lesser extent I'll see something like: "Why is Hillary a corporate sell-out?" and might see "Hillary basher!" as a response.

Seriously. Think about this question before you reply. Do you, as answerers, ever stop to consider that these questions are not meant as an attack, but are asked to encourage a critical reply?

Okay. What would YOU do if you went over to your girlfriend's house (still in college so she lives at home) and you saw her father physically harm (i.e. punch, push hard) on her? Would you step in, and stop it and risk her father not liking you anymore? To make matters worse, what do you do if her father is a police officer?

I'd get fired if I tested positive, why should taxpayers give money to people who are buying and doing illegal drugs? I've got nothing against tax-paying people who smoke pot or do other recreational drugs in moderation, it's their choice, and it is a private matter. Just like the everyday working Joe that goes out for a beer or two after work, but why should taxpayers have to pay for someone who's abusing the system? You want your check? We're going to drug test you. Don't give me that garbage about personal rights, the government breaks all kinds of laws dealing with privacy and personal rights everyday. If you know up front that you're going to be drug tested in order to get your federal aide, it's not an invasion of privacy, it's a choice. Do you want the help or not?

All this time, conservatives have resisted offering a deadline by which the war will be over... yet apparently someone here knows that it is "almost successfully over."

So since this is the case, I'd like to know the date we will be withdrawing, please.

If the U.S. is going to blur the line of what is acceptable or just dismiss it altogether why not go all out and do what ever it takes?

Is there a reason why the U.S. shouldn't become as bad as the enemy?
