If we pull out of Iraq in 2008, there are two things which could happen.
1) Our original concept was that due to Iraq's central location in the Middle East that it would be a place where the seed of democracy and justice would spread. After we pull out, a civil war over the power struggle will ensue and most likely the Al-Qaeda terrorists will gain control. The reverse of our original intent will occur: Iraq will be the new seed of barbarism and terrorism.
2) (Less likely) The interim government gains strength and overpowers the opposition. Unstable conditions continue for years to come.
That's just my opinion...

None of us know that. What will probably happen is a massive civil war and possibly an invasion by Iran. Either way, the price of gas at the pump will go through the ceiling.

Iraq will likely fall under the control of Iranian influence if it isn't invaded by Turkey first.

It's hard to say what the long-term outcome will be when we leave.
If we leave in a quick fashion, I suppose things would probably quickly collapse in to a very bloody civil war.

Easy. Al-Queda and other terrorists networks will take over. It will become an Anarchy, a place where terrorists will have the time to study hard which city or place in the US they want to hit next!!!!

It won't happen. It isn't part of the plan. The chances of someone being voted into office that would do the honest action of bringing most of the troops home are little to none.
