Drugs... the gangs produce, import and control the sale of the drugs.

Violent Crime / Murder - Tied right in with the drugs.

COST - the crime, trial, and imprisonment cost the State BILLIONS. All illegal-immigrant criminals should be placed in chain-gangs / work-farms and then deported.

There's no benefit to a gang. Even innocent bystanders get killed. What's up with that.? In my day we had an unwritten code. You fought with your fists,NOT with weapons.
If you were the loser, then that's where it ended. If you wanted a rematch then you set a time and place for it.
It wasn't two or three or ten against one. That's the chickensh*t way.
You didn't do drivebys . And you NEVER went to someone's home or messed with their family. Your argument was with that one person.
If you saw the other guy walking down the street with his family, you left him alone till the agreed time came.

1. Gangs most likely bring violence to a neighborhood, so people may fear them.

2. The loitering and selling of drugs within a neighborhood may scare homeowners/buyers away, therefore property value could go down.

3. Bad influences on children growning up

Note: I just came up with those off the top of my head...can you tell? LOL

Well gangs intimidate the elderly young and defenceless people. They deal drugs making more people like them. most people in gangs are on drugs. And they start mini wars on the street putting innocent peoples lifes at risk. If we want world peace we 1st have 2 stop the wars on the street

The biggest gang threat in the united states is MS13, the latin gang. They have territory in almost every major city in the US. The only thing you have to worry about as long as you do not get involved with them, is them dealing drugs to your friends, family, or children, recruiting your children (you only have this worry if you are hispanic), or if you own a business in their territory, you have to pay them for protection, and if you don't, they will probably kill you.

Drugs - they sneak in drugs to and from U.S. and they sell it themselfs

Deaths - number of inocent or not innocent people that die during gang related shootings and drive-by's.

Bad communities - Compton, CA: Watts, CA: Oakland, CA all bad communities where there are the most gang population.

Racism - black and hispanic gangs dont like each other! black people wont recruit a hispanic person to be in their gang!

Gang Wars - people die over colors!

#1
deindividuation of members (lose identity and conform to group actions they wouldn't normally do if alone)

#2
Schemas relating to other groups can lead to irrational violent aggression which can be misdirected to innocent bystanders

#3
Intimidation of non-gang members, just the presence of gang members, or the "look" of a member can cause anxiety in others

Where I live, their getting to little kids.
Thinking it "cool" to be in a gang, and drop out of school like their family members. They think their getting respect but they aren't. And then their destroying their own community with all that graffitti (IDK if I spelled that right?) Also, where I live they are bringing the violence into school.
