I was delivered papers by an officer today. I have no idea what half of it means. Yes, I know I'm being taken to court, but what does the stuff mean? It says "You must serve a motion or answer within 20 days after service of this original notice upon you and within a reasonable time thereafter, file your motion or answer" WTF does that mean? What does serving a motion mean?

A study last year by Cornell University biologist David Pimentel and University of California at Berkeley engineer Ted Patzek says no. According to the study, "Ethanol production using corn grain required 29 percent more fossil energy than the ethanol fuel produced." And the news was even worse for cellulosic ethanol using switchgrass, which requires 50 percent more fossil energy than it displaces; woodchips needed 57 percent more; and biodiesel burnd 27 percent more fossil fuel than it displaces.

Biofuels are commercially questionable, do not materially advance energy independence, and may not even help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Bioethanol is just a subsidy boondoggle masquerading as a solution to America's energy problems.

But it does help get some politicians elected.

After seeing that disarming the law abiding population has not prevented violent crime and armed crime has increased, is it time for the government to radically rethink the UK's firearms laws?

Should we return to our right as guaranteed in the Bill of Rights to 'Freedom to have arms for defence'?

Should we stop allowing our laws on firearms ownership and self-defence be dictated by emotional knee-jerk reactions, and instead restore the most fundamental human right; the right to protect our lives?

Is it time to form a rational policy that will allow us to protect ourselves, having seen that the police that we were told would protect us have not been able to meet the challenge since the people lack the will to to defend themselves?

Please do not comment on comparisons to American laws and statistics unless you have actually done the reading and research to put you in a position of actual knowledge rather than the popular (and misinformed) view.

Thanks!

I know, I know, because he wants to lower taxes.

I'm not sure you are aware, but we are trillions of dollars in debt, and lowering taxes will not help. Plus, lowering taxes is very hard to do successfully, and Ron Paul seems incompetent to me.

In Europe, taxes are much higher than ours, but they have a better quality of life, because they have better services like healthcare. Their Euro is beating the dollar like nobodies business.

So tell me, why should I vote for him?

Help me out here folks. If you take a look at the most popular "issues" out there that people gripe about every day the only choice to answer you complaints is Ron Paul. Why would you vote agaist a guy who represents your own beliefs? Do you really want just more of the same? Are you happy with the way this country is headed? Why vote for just another neo-con or some socialist democrat.

Why is it that if I speak out about illegal immigration I am immediatly branded as a racist? Does no one acknowledge that crossing someone else's country's border without authorization is illegal? And please don't even try to call me a racist, my wife is from across the southern border and she came in legally. She even took the oath of allegiance and it caused me a missed heartbeat when she did it. But then I still get goosebumps when I hear the national anthem or 'To The Colors'. Golly fifty percent of my own family came through Ellis Island with no hope of any sort of...welfare(?)...Am I really zenophobic?

Would I be infringing on conflict of interest if I took on one job privately if they were turned down by my employer?
One of my clients is an 11 year old boy with disabilities that lives with his parents, and I as well as other assistants go out to the home for help. The parents have to go to another state for 5 days to handle some things with family there. They asked my employer if they could provide a HCA to come out while he is home from school. They denied the request, even though the family said they would have no problem paying the amount due that their regular form of payment does not cover. My employer said that the HCAs dont work 3rd shift, or pass meds and they wouldn't allow it. The family asked me if I would be willing to do it anyway and I would get paid cash ($800 plus gas money, food money). I am more than qualified for the specified job becuase at my other job I am state certified to pass meds, g-tubes etc. Since they were denied help is that conflict of interest??

A police stopped me today. Routinely, he took my license and registration. He told me the reason he stopped me was because one of my break lights was out then returned to his car to run my license (I guess). After a min or so, he returned to the car and asked me if I smoked weed or if I use narcotics. I said no, he said "are you sure", I said "I'm sure". He asked me again and again I said I do not use weed. Then he said "I'm asking you that for a reason... When I walked up to you car, I smelled weed...do you have a problem with me searching your car"? I told him I didn't have a problem with that and again he asked me if I was sure that neither I nor anyone else had smoked in my car. He searched my car, then said... the fine for a break light out is $70...I'm gonna cut you a break. You can go". There is no way he smelled weed!!! Do police make up stories like this??? If so, why. I'm really upset about this. Thanks.
