It's too early to judge him as prime minister although there are some worrying early signs. He does seem to be rushing into a lot of decisions quickly which was the downfall of the Whitlam government in the early 70's.
He has also changed his position on computers in schools, instead of a computer for each student it is now access to a computer, which is the situation already.
When it comes to Kyoto it also slipped his mind in the election campaign to inform us that there would be considerable extra energy costs handed on to consumers. There may have been a lot less support for signing Kyoto if the costs associated were available to voters up front.
I personally don't like him, I think he's a hypocrite and a nerd but I am willing to wait and see if he has the goods.

He's a great diplomat with a bit of charm and personality and that's it. One of the contributors here says at least he will do something about the environment funny thing is we where already meeting Kyoto's requirements anyway. With Rudd signing it he is quoted as saying "Rudd says to prepare for higher prices 7News Sunrise News - Tue Dec 04 08:00am EST Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has warned Australians to prepare for higher power, fuel and food prices as the nation moves to a low-carbon future"

Not as if the drought has already had a major impact on food and power.

Like I said he's just a great diplomat a good front man nothing more nothing less.

The public does not know the real Kevin Rudd. We no only a frightening left wing figure by the name of Kevin 07. It was artificially created by speech writers and spin doctors.

The bloke's a fraud. In the same way the Spice Girls and Bardot were 'created' out of humans with no talent, Rudd has been moulded by 'image makers' to fool the Australian public.
He cannot speak off-the-cuff, but only from papers prepared by the minders and spin doctors. He has no opinions, only those given to him by the minders. He's a puppet, with the unions and socialist political manipulators pulling the strings.

I know a girl who used to sit near him in class at Nambour State School, who reported that he was the class dill who kept getting into strife for telling lies and dobbing in other calss-mates. That's a nice pedigree for being put in charge of this great nation.
Stand back, and watch the real Kevin Rudd emerge.

Better than Howard!
Can't do much worse than a xenophobic, scare-mongering, overbearing, control freak.

Rudd's at least trying on climate change, which is more than can be said for the Liberals.
