I always wondered the same thing. In all of my 41 years, I've never been asked my opinions for it.
I just went to their site. I'm still not sure WHO they ask. I looked for a link to sign up as 1 of their peeps...no link. Hmmmm...
BTW...where's the Emu? He was kinda cute and I miss him (or her?).

It is a polling company. I think the founder was named George Gallup.

Yes, that's how it's spelled.
To the best of my knowledge, they are a private polling for hire organization. I have never in all my years been called to take any sort of poll, nor were my parents, nor have any of my friends, nor anyone I know.
