A witness testified in a murder trail. The medical examiner's report proved his testimony was impossible. The DA had the witness demonstrate five times what he claimed happened. It was proved it could not have happened the way he claimed. The DA did not charge this man with perjury even though it was proved he lied. What can we do.

The 12th amendment to the constitution states that when electoral votes are cast, a person must recieve a majority (not plurality) of the votes to become the president elect. Let's suppose a Guliani gets the nomination and Christian conservatives make good on their threat to vote for a third party candidate before they vote for a Republican who is pro-choice. If Rudy gets more independent votes than the Democratic candidate and the third party candidate gets most of the Christian conservative votes, there is a chance (albeit unlikely) that no candidate will recieve the majority. Am I reading the 12th Amendment correctly? Will the House, by state, actually chose the next President? And how does the voting by state work? Does each state get one vote?

Why do you hate George W. Bush?

Majority of Americans do not like him. I mean really don't like him, alot of hatred toward one man. I want to know why? Is he just a scapegoat? Did the media tell you to? Or is it because he looks like a monkey?

10 points to the one who can give me a good, serious answer.

They think he wants to kill our troops...Then why does the Military support him?
Were quelling terrorism right? Is that wrong?

Just curious, don't go ranting. Thanks : )

A cousin of my friend was actually involved in some kind of 'fake cop' incident back east.

The guy was wearing clothing that somewhat resembled that of the local police, drove a crown vic, but with no siren or lights...just had some kind of red light on the dash, so she figured he was undercover or an unmarked car and pulled over.

I guess the guy turned out to be a phony, and got scared off when a real police officer drove by.

If you think someone isn't a genuine police officer, are you allowed to ask him for his identification? Like, badge number and such? Or will that just piss the cop off?

I live in Georgia. I will be 18 in April. I have had my GED for 1.5 years now and I have been attending community college ever since. Mostly because my High School did not offer that many classes. I have signed up for school for next semester at a 4 year university for spring as a transfer student. I am staying with a friend up there (NO SEXUAL RELATIONS!!) because dorms are too expensive. If I dont go to school next semester my mom will lose child support, which is paying for my college. My mom refuses to let me go because she says that she has legal consent over me and she doesnt trust my friend. Even though I will be 18 in the middle of the semester. Are there any loopholes I can work with as far as Georgia Code goes?? I will have to spend thousands more if I do not go. I need a certain class that is only offered once a semester to be considered a full time student. I will have to wait 1 more year to be in full attendance to this college. The college is out of state. PLEASE HELP!!!

So I applied for a local police officer position... well I passed the initial oral interview, the medical screening, the agilty test and during the agility test we got fitted for uniforms. Well the last step was an interview with the Police Chief.. well it was about 10 minutes long, the Chief spoke about the benefits, rookie school, what he expects from us, and also 4-5 people out of about 14 won't be hired. He said he would call me by Saturday and let me know if I get a job offer.. After the interview we were sent back across the street where we were "fitted" for uniforms again, and also guys were calling us new recruits..

However, if we don't officially have the job yet, why were we being fitted for uniforms? And making it all the way to the Chief's interview? Do I have a shot at this or no?

I work at a indoor racing company as a cashier. They gave us a sheet of what our duties are when we got hired. We're opening up in a new place tomorrow and they're making us go in and clean and bleach and basically act as their *****. Usually we do clean up after parties but why do we have to set up and prepare a whole kitchen?? I don't understand this. Shouldn't I have a right not to be fired if I don't want to do this. I didn't sign up to set up a whole company, just as the damn cashier!

I'm sure all police are family, and brothers etc. But do some police department get jealous of another department, or is there ever a little competitions going on? Especially when in most county there is one 'best' department, for making a lot of arrests and keeping the streets safer.

If your life is not easy and happy since we have Bush as a president, then stop sitting aside.
http://211.172.232.126/threat.html
If you love and support Bush, I just wish you good luck. I know there are only 30-35% of Americans who are happy with Bush... I guess most of them are Saudis..
And the question is.. Are you ready to wake up and act? Or you are going to keep silence and pretend happy? You know it's not too late, but it's not too much time before it would be late...
