Why do you hate George W. Bush?

Majority of Americans do not like him. I mean really don't like him, alot of hatred toward one man. I want to know why? Is he just a scapegoat? Did the media tell you to? Or is it because he looks like a monkey?

10 points to the one who can give me a good, serious answer.

They think he wants to kill our troops...Then why does the Military support him?
Were quelling terrorism right? Is that wrong?

Just curious, don't go ranting. Thanks : )

I don't "hate" the man - I just think that he is not doing the job he was elected to do. He was elected to run this nation effectively, and I don't feel he has done that job.

The military supports him because it is against military code to publically disagree with the "Commander and Chief" of the military. That is a given. He was advised by his military advisors to NOT go into Iraq, and he didn't listen to them. Now they are the ones left to clean up the mess he has created. That to me is not a great leader - my 2 year old acts that way!

And I don't think it is a plausable goal to "stop all terrorism". He went into a country that wasn't really the true hot bed of terrorist activity - our allies in Saudi Arabia has the most terrorist activity, but because they are our friends, we invade a country that the President's daddy failed to oust the leader of during his "Gulf War". It makes no sense. If I want to stop the infection in a wound, I don't wash out the skin on another part of my body - I clean out the wound. Stopping terrorism will never be because no one can define what terrorism is. Is it something that threatens the well-being of another? We have a lot of home-grown terrorists right in this nation - like PETA, the Pro Lifers, and so on. By definition, they are terrorists. But we do nothing to stop them. And aren't the Islamic extremists only expressing their freedom of speech and religion?

I don't condone killing anyone over a belief. I certainly don't agree with the Islamic extremists and their methods. But I don't think that we are fighting terrorism - we are fighting what will raise the approval numbers for the president. And that is not a valid reason to go to war. And then to use the words "War on Terror" as the reason for the war is totally misleading. Anyone with any common sense will see that is not the true reason.

So why don't I like Bush? He has lied to me, taken away some of my guaranteed constitutional rights as an American Citizen, and basically shot our reputation with the rest of the world. He hasn't done anything good for this nation from what I can see, and I am darn thankful that I didn't vote for him either time. . .

I don't hate George Bush. I don't like how he is selling out the American people pushing the NAU. And there was a time when I thought going into Iraq was a good thing to overthrow Saddam. Could we have done that and not gone in there. I doubt it it would be chaos in Iraq to have just cut off the head of the snake so to speak. When a person signs up in the military it is with the knowledge that they may have to fight in a way, they get pay and benefits to do this. They serve because they want to no one makes them. I commend those that serve our country however, you can't fight a war without causalities both military and civilian. It is inevitable. You can try to keep them to a minimum but that is all you can do. People screaming about causalities must think this is a tea party we are attending over there. We are fighting an unconventional war with an unconventional enemy who doesn't go by Geneva Convention rules but there are those who want to tie the hands of our military and not let them do their job to gather intelligence from the enemy for fear of offending them or violating their rights. What about the rights of those they blow up or plan to blow up or behead?

A lot of people hate G.W. because most of the media tells us to every chance they get.
Very little has come out about the intelligence reports that prompted him to invade Iraq, but 1 news report I heard about was altered before it was given to him and recommended the invasion.
Congress voted for the invasion and continues to fund the war,all they have to do is cut off the funding and we are out of Iraq and Afghanistan.
The military takes an oath to protect this country from all enemies both foreign and domestic.
The troops that are now fighting are the last of the constitutional troops,Bill Clinton signed an executive order that will turn most of our military over to the United Nations in a few short years.
It's like gun control issues, the news media tells us about all the school shootings, but they never mention how many times people have used a gun to stop a crime every day or had to defend themselves.

oh yeah I hate him..I think he has been spoiled all his life. Today I see him as an internationalist. I see him very concerned with advancing the interests of oil companies. I am sure that he will peddle influence any way he can...just as his whole family has done his whole life. Let's face it...if georgie had been born a poor white boy in Texas,(rather that a rich white boy from god knows where? ..Connecticut?) he probably wouldn't have graduated from highschool with his work ethic and intellect
