minimum ASVAB score of 50. additionally, many jobs will be closed to you no matter what your score, Bonuses are few and far between and other opportunities will be closed to you. Additionally, only a small percentage of new enlistees may be GED holders period, and once they fill thier quota for the year, that's it, you are waiting, MINIMUM til next October before you can even begin the process again.
it is far far far better to finish High school. or to complete 15 100 level college classes with the GED.

The Army Reserve is taking GEDs in some areas, we started taking them again about a week ago. This will only last until the 18th of this month or until the GED slots are gone, whichever one comes first. Since Army recruiting offices will be closed until next Monday (Veterans Day is tomorrow) you need to see an Army Recruiter first thing Monday morning if you want a slot. Be prepared to have your birth certificate, Social Security Card, GED transcript, picture ID, and dependent documents (if you're married) with you. If you don't want Reserves and want active duty only then you'll need 15 semester hours of college.
