when they hear news about (the supposedly Christian) George Bush's military buildup/spending, his creation of Iraq's Civil War, and his intentions to start a war with Iran?

Where are all the religious leaders who supported him? Do they not stand for peace with Jesus?

There are so many oppourtunities these days to pick an "us" and a "them": libs, cons, Reps, Dems, gays, women who want abortions, illegals, Christians, neocons, Muslims...etc., etc.. I know being in (or against) one or more of these groups can help give us a sense of identity, belonging and serving a greater purpose, but are we really getting any closer to "defeating" any of these groups or are we just finding other people to blame for our problems? What would we do without "them"? I beleive it was Jung who said "What we resist persists.". Do you think the wars on poverty, drugs and terror have made those social woes better, worse or kept them the same? Or do those wars serve to absolutely ensure that those problems always remain with us?

He has been here for 7 years. Don't know much more than that. I did see the ticket. It did say driving on expired licsense. Has not renewed it and won't. Uses the bus to come to work. Why would he rather pay a fine instead of renewing it and getting the ticket dropped. Don't know when it expired. What might be the reason.

If I do well enough on a civil service exam I will be given a polygraph. The only question I am worried about on the polygraph is "have you ever smoked marijuana?"

I have been told by a couple of firefighters that I should lie on this question and say "no, I have never smoked marijuana"

However, a couple of others have told me that I should just tell them the truth.

I am concerned that telling the truth could cost me the job. What is your advice?

Im a clean person no record nothing to hide, they wanna kill me because i wouldnt make an agreement with them to extend a lease so they view it as me making them loose
$500 000, My question is do you think they really will try to kill me or since they are telling everything they will i should be ok and this is just an intimidation tactic? I dont want to go to the police since they will find out since the local police do illegal business with them. I was considering internal affairs and the RCMP, but want opinions.

behind the fact that cigarettes harm your lungs?

and by "deniers" i mean people who don't use any scientific data at all to prove their skeptical beliefs, but rather just write off the whole climate change thing as:
1 a hoax
2 say there's this one scientists who doesn't believe in it (i.e. "guy from weather channel doesn't believe in it, therefore it's not real [but if the guy from the weather channel DID believe in it i wouldn't be basing my opinion of it off him"]) when having absolutely no knowledge of him argument
3 claim al gore "invented" it, even though al gore was born a half century AFTER it was predicted
4 claim that because a minority of scientists believed in global cooling in the 70's, science can't be trusted
5 etc.

i have intermittent fmla. my boss is constantly complaining about time i'm missing, how she has to reschedule if i miss a meeting with her, is always asking me if i "plan" on leaving early today, she is making all kinds of references in my files about time i am missing. told me she made her boss aware of my "problems", etc. I work for a big corporation and all my fmla paperwork etc is thru hr, not her, so i'm not sure how much she even knows about my condition. the time i am missing is affecting my % of worked time to break time, and she is leading me to believe that my job is in jeopardy because of this.

My question was, Will Hukabee, consistent with his core beliefs, advocate as a candidate and enact into law if he is elected, a law criminalizing extra maratal sex?

Is there something mysterious about that question?…All the answers I got did not touch on it in anyway. . I assume that his ardent supporters would have some idea that they were willing to share.

include the visa jumpers? I saw a graph of extended families and it looked like up to 20 folks could come. I don't think they would allow that many, but what about the visas jumpers? In Morris' book Outrage he documents that in 2005, 3 million coming in, did not honor their visas when they expired and just hid out in the country. So just figuring 2 million a year for the past 14 years and 3 mill for that year, that's another 31 million. Add the "15 million" and you have 46 million. If they are allowed to bring in five extra people (which sounds right), then we double the population in one year. So what do you think the great statesmen will do? Would that be good for the economy? Maybe we can move our productin that has been outsourced back to the states.
