The media is most definitely biased, but not in the way Limbaugh and O'Reilly would have you believe. The media, through the brow beating of the Republican party, has all but resigned themselves to adopting Republican terminology, and the framework of their argument, ignored reports that not only dispute, but disprove Republican policy and it's effects, etc., etc. Not to mention that all the major Media Corporations in America are owned by very wealthy individuals who find it in their best interests to support the Republican party and their agenda even though that agenda is concentrated on furthering the wealthy elite and leaving the rest of America out in the cold.

Lies, bias, unbalanced and virtually no effort to tell the other side. That would be okay IF the media had not, and continues, been so consolidated with ownership, therefore, point of view is easily manipulated by media gods like Murdoch and the "Manhattan Lobby."
Joseph Goebbels Media Inc. rules.

Fox has a conservative bias, the rest have a liberal bias to varying degrees. More than anything though, the mainstream media is just sloppy and uninformed.
I have several Google News Alerts set up for topics that I'm interested in and know a lot about (I get an email whenever a new article pops up that matches my search terms). I'm amazed at how many reporters get basic facts wrong, as if they couldn't be bothered to do more than ten minutes of research.
The worst is a search I have set up for articles on recreational nudity. I'd guess about half of all hits from 'objective' sources (ie, not opinion pieces) have a negative spin.
I'm deeply concerned for anyone who get their news solely from TV and newspapers.

Yes, the media is biased. Like whenever the New York Times publishes classified information, even though democrats and republicans in Congress ask them not to.

yes they are biased.Think about it ,You never hear about the good things going on in Iraq,If you did youd see we have done a lot there,I have 2 sons there, their major complaint is that the media doesn't report about the SCHOOLS,ELECTRICITY,RUNNING WATER,IRAQIS ABLE TO OPEN THEIR OWN BUSINESS'S,THE WOMEN NOW HAVE RIGHTS WHERE THEY NEVER HAVE HAD THEM BEFORE,FEMALE CHILDREN ABLE TO GO TO SCHOOL,but if the media reported the true story, the DEMS would be proven to be lying to you,and hurt their chance for the Presidency, and congress, therefore not being able to implement their SOCIALIST policies on you, raise your taxes, and control your money and life
