Screw the official government numbers. They've been massaged or skewed or politicized or just plain fabricated. Merrill Lynch calculates 7.9% year over year inflation since last Thanksgiving. And THAT'S probably a somewhat conservative estimate. All I know is, I didn't get an 8% raise this year and I'm sure as hell not going to get one next year...

Why? Many of them didn't decide to go their or had to go because of financial problems. But some did to defend this fine country and YOU and your family from being destroyed. Also people think war should stop, and I think that to. But it will never stop. Even if all countries said "no more fighting" we would still stock up on weapons and keep our military. Because everyone knows someone will be born, take control, and attack another country. Or someone will want another country tooken care of and since their would be no real defense, would take it over. But if you want our troops to come back right now go ahead! Although I can't wait to see the looks on your faces when they come into our country :)

This question is regarding the laws in Idaho. If a person is a bartender and their cash register is short, can the owner legally take the difference out of your paycheck in the state of Idaho? It sounds illegal to me....
Here is the scenario.... I have a friend who is a bartender. He worked 10 days in the two week period.... his Register was short about $90.00 in that time. His boss took the amount he was short out of his pay check...Is this legal??? I told him I thought it was illegal to do so, because if it were legal, wouldn't Wal-Mart and K-Mart being doing the same type of thing?? Can anyone help me?

I started wondering about this when a friend and I debated the topic of abortion(She's 100% against abortion and I'm indecisive about the issue, but lean a bit towards pro choice). Somewhere along the way we started arguing about the War. She told me she believed that the U.S involvement in Iraq was a just cause(I'm not sure if she still holds such view). So then this came into my head. Isn't it kind of contradictory to be pro-life(where the goal is to protect innocent lives and give them a chance to live and prosper)but then sign up for military where one knows that they may kill a civilian(a person completely INNOCENT of the crime we're fighting against).

I know that in Vietnam soldiers were told to shoot anything that moved. And I'm sure a lot of soldiers held the view that abortion was wrong? I'm not trying to push a certain view on anyone or pointing out hypocrisy. I'm just wondering what some of your thoughts are, because this has kind of confused me.

Our store recently had a store wide sale. My co worker priced some chairs to a customer and I then sold them to the customer at that price. Owner is furious and acting like we took the money. I told them to call the customer all the money was there. Is this considered embezzellment fraud or theft? Because they sure are acting like it!!

I went to the post office in WA and I filled out a change of address form for an individual, me, and checked Nov. 15th as the date I wanted all my mail to start getting sent to my new address in California. When I get here, I get a slip in the mail informing me of the change of address, yet it says I still need to "confirm" it. Only it doesn't provide any number or suggestion for how I'm supposed to do that.

Um...what?

If there are no healthy workers left in America you will have no choice but to hire illegal aliens and buy everything from Wal-Mart.

Do you really want to see your country in that sad of shape?

What happens when there is no middle class?

What side of the line will you fall on when all we have is super-rich people who live for hundreds of years and poverty-stricken drug-addicted people that walk the streets like zombies?

If you look around, you can already see it happening in the major cities...

(Yes, it's an exaggeration, but it might only be another 10 years away at this rate...)

Do you trust media that contributes 98% to Democrat party and 2% to the Republicans? How many of you believe the media. “Communications Workers of America” the media clearly represents its slanted point of view, and whats sad is most people base their political opinion on the papers and TV

The case of Lt Michael Blassie in 1998 grabbed national headlines. Blessie an Air Force pilot was interred in the Vietnam War memorial, but enough artifact and record evidence existed along with the availability of a family mtDNA reference sample, were enough to persuade the DoD to exhume the remains and perform a test. The results confirmed his ID and therefore no longer an unknown Warrior. The case set a precedent, leaving Vietnam vets in a vacuum, how could any sets of remains fill the unknown soldier space when some evidence might surface later to ID them. With all the advances in science how can any future tombs for unknowns be used. In future the only unknowns will be service personnel never recovered then you would have an empty tomb. Your thoughts? Is it now a defunct practice? Need for something different?
