About 25% of Americans (the dumbest 25%?) are staunch supporters of President Bush. That's a huge number of people. Likewise, there were thousands of unrepentant Nazis who committed suicide rather than witness the death of National Socialism in 1945. The brainwashing of the stupid is a sad, ugly thing...

The only reason I still kind of like the guy is because his detractors have intellects like this:

"Bush is the worst president EVER. He's such a fathead!! He's stupid!! and he thinks he owns the world. he's such a hypocrite. he thinks other countries shouldn't have nuclear weapons, and yet WE DO!!!!!!!!! personally, i think he's plotting...............he's trying to force people to not have nuclear weapons so that the U.S. can be the strongest country in the world, and then he'll take over the world!!! Thankfully, elections are only a year away, so his little scheme is gonna fail. LOL. thats my opinion..

and you, above my post, he is NOT CUTE!!!!!!!!! he's old and wrinkly and shriveled up and over 60 years old!!!!!!!!!!"

So to agree with this person would in some ways put me on the same level and that is just something I cannot do.

President Bush is a great leader and doing a fine job in a very difficult situation.
President Bush is very much like President Lincoln. The similarities are striking. President Lincoln won the presidency amid controversy. He was considered too ignorant and uneducated to hold the office, he was called an ape by the press (they didn't know what a Chimp was then),
he led the country during an unprescedented war, adopted extra Constitutional power to suppress civil rights for some American citizens, presided over an unpopular war that included many protests and riots, he stayed the course when the Democrats were calling for bringing the troops home, the Civil War had many set-backs and appeared to be a failed policy, despite his criticism he won a second term, and he brought a backwards and medieval culture into modernity by force. President Bush is doing the same thing right now.
President Bush is a great man. He's also a Republican, another similarity with Lincoln.

Of course there are some who like George W. Bush. They are his family and a small minority of Americans and people around the world.

Yup. They have a name, too. They're called the silent majority. They don't have to scream and yell to be noticed. The proof is in who the president is. We call him George W. Bush.

I like him so I guess I am ignorant or stupid. I mean man standing up for your beliefs even when the nation seems to be against you is tough it is tougher when every time you make progress a bunch of people want to bury it and point out your flaws. What do you think Pelosi and Ried would do if the nation started picking at their mistakes or flaws....

In time GWB will be viewed as the "greatest Prez" of them all. How else is there to judge a man who would stick to what what he thinks is right, no matter the cost. The oval office is one of character, not public opinion. We could go to walmart buy a chia head. It would be better than Hillary or Obama in office.

I like George W. Bush and I am Thankful that he is the President of my country, the United States of America. I know that he is not perfect but he is a good honest Christian Conservative who Speaks The Truth and he Never Lives In Everday Sin.

Right now, President Bush is not popular in America, but I believe 20 years from now, Americans will look back and say "President Bush did great for America and The World."

I approve of George W. Bush, Always Have and Always Will and I will miss President Bush when he leaves office. I believe he will be remembered as the Greatest President in American History and one of the greatest humanitarians of the first decade of the 21st century.
