I give him a 7. He is good on the economy, good on the war on terrorism, not good on spending restraint, not good on securing our borders.

I don't know how much that you can really blame on the president, but my main concern right now is employment (there isn't any), the receeding middle class and growing lower income families who are stuck in dead ends, and the conflict in Iraq.

I refuse to call it a war when my friends are being shot at because they have to patrol an area and they have no clue who is doing the shooting b/c it's guerilla warfare. I hate the fact that my friends get their BDU's covered in their soldiers blood everyday and watch our soldiers die.

When we didn't know any better - we're military - we would have given him a 10 around the second election. We were so gung-ho about the war and how it was about 9/11. Now that you can't even get a consistent answer out of the general population as to what we are doing in the Middle East is really scary. So many know so little. Now that we've been taking classes and learning about the economy and the different factions in the Middle East and what they believe in, religiously, and what they really want vs. what we want, we hate what is happening. The fact that we are now upseting Iran, Russia, and China is even more scary. If we keep this up, we're not going to have any allies in the decades to come.

Anyone that goes there has my complete support, no matter what their beliefs are - and if we get sent, we get sent, but if Bush is the main reason that this conflict continues (it's scary that you really don't know how much power the president REALLY has) then we can't wait for him to get out of office. Plus the fact that I think that over $400 billion in the last year could have been spent on something else then my friends dying for reasons that they aren't too sure about.

1. He has not been good on the economy. We are spending way too much money on this war and continue to do so to the detriment of our own local economies. Property taxes are skyrocketing, houses are being foreclosed upon left and right. Property values are plummeting. He has not captured Osama Bin Laden.

He needs to start paying attention to the kids in his own backyard rather than the neighbors kids. Don't they say in the bible, "thou shalt not covet thy neighbors oxen"? Well, lets stop coveting other countries and pay attention to what is going on within our own borders.

I'd give him a 5. I'd like to see the peole that criticize him do a better job... im sure some of them can, but i bet the majority cant. We need to be supportive of our president.

Right now, about a 3. Pretty crappy, but could be worse.

Long term, possibly a 1, as he's the reason Hillary has a chance at becoming President.

I can't believe anyone gave you an answer other than 1 or 10. He seems to be universally loved as a diety (by a minority) or completely reviled (by the majority)....

For the record, I give him a 1.
