I don't trust the media because they have a left-wing, liberal agenda. If you want the truth then you have to watch FoxNews.

That does not change the facts . So what if the entire media was democratic . If not one single republican was in the media what difference would it make .
Bush Got elected twice .The congress was ruled by republicans and yet in the last 15 years the press did not suddenly become democrats .
The media has always been democrats .

See once you learn to read and write you come to the conclusion that republicans and many democrats are simply delusional people .
That no matter what you report it makes no difference .
It goes in one ear and right out the other making no impact .

People watch the weather report and know its going to rain all day and yet do not take the umbrella with them .

That its going to snow all day while you are at work and they do not take a snow shovel or ice scraper with them .

People can be told the truth but most will do little to prepare for whats going to happen to them even when they are warned .

This nation is as close to a police state as possible yet no one cares . They like it . They watch cops in prison and cheer when the cop smashes some suspect into the ground and 10 more cops pile on swinging clubs and dragging the guy to the police car shoving him in the back seat and slamming the door .

This nation is a nation of idiots and ignorant people that I have little respect for .

No matter what you are told you seem to do nothing about it .

Your figures would be more accurate if they reflected the contributions of the CEOs, major shareholders, and all the other employees of companies such as AT&T, General Electric and many of the nation’s top newspapers and broadcast stations. The Communications Workers of America is just one union that represents a small percentage of the media. Members of the CWA don't even have any control over the content or editorial policies of the media.

The Communications Workers Union does not represent "the media" they are mainly the rank and file workers that work for phone companies, cable companies etc. and deal with cabling, connections and other labor intensive and technical type blue collar jobs. The don't write news stories, appear on TV, own any television stations or Newspapers or have anything to do with the content of what you see on TV, hear on the Radio or read in a newspaper.

If you looked who the people that OWN the media contribute to you would get a very different picture.

Good try but we need a little more detail - always remember, figures can't lie but liars can figure.

Are all media people members of that union? if so, fine; if not, what percent belong to it on what networks and stations? There are 740,000 members and some of them work for GE, AT&T, etc; how many are left that work for networks and what percent of each network's workers are union and in what positions? I really don't care if the guy who fetches extension cords or coffee votes R or D...and that is just the question that came to me right away, I know there are more if I think about it.

But you are right about one thing, you can never wholly trust any of the media (and that includes our so called fair and balanced pals on Fox), you have to dig in to their sources. It is hard work to be a good citizen!

The media supported the Republican party wholeheatedly for the first 5 years of the Bush administration. Go back and look through the stories.

The media is support to be final watchdog of government, reporting on the good as well as the bad. Uncovering 'scandals' and other illegal activities. Generally being the equalizer.

They haven't done that for decades consistently.

It's all about where the money is now. They will report the stories in a way that doesn't jeopardize their income streams.

Yes and no. I research everything myself anyway. Let's just say that Fox News is always completely wrong about what they report. The other stations report the truth, but people like you label anything that proves you wrong as "left wing biased" so it's pointless for you to even acknowledge anyone but Fox News or Rush. You are so ignorant that you could see solid evidence of something on tv and still deny it. Something is definitely wrong with you. I feel sorry for you and the people that are forced to be around you.

While we spend our time arguing over these kinds of things with each other, the thieves in Washington D.C. and in the State Capitols are robbing us blind. When will people wake up and realize, politicians are out for themselves and tell the people whatever they want to hear, while they are in office getting rich at our expense.

It's not at all surprising that unions support democrats but your charts are not proof that all media union members support the democratic party. As a previous poster mentioned, I too would suspect they would reflect the national trend.

The media is owned and run by right-wing corporations. Yiou misperceive the situation.

By the way, it's "DemocratIC Party". When people like you use "Democrat" as an adjective, you sound ignorant.
