As much as I don't like America's political regime, you cannot call her a fascist state. Fascism by definition is often little more than a 'Cult of personality'. Could you honestly say President Bush has a personality let alone one that would inspire culthood? No, I think America is two governments for the price of one. You have the Bush government, going through the motions of perceived democracy, and then you have an Oligarchy. A group of Corporations and big business that invested a lot of money to get their man in the Whitehouse. I put it to you that these forces are the power behind the throne. I do agree with you that the war was illegal and though I'm sure America did the Iraqi people a great service by forcibly removing Saddam, why did they not do it during Bush Senior's term as President? If it's about saving lives they would have saved thousands more. Alternatively they could have had the forsight not to make him the powerful dictator that he was. Let us not forget, America initially backed Iraq with arms and training against their war with Iran. Previous to that there was the small matter of a failed coup that was sponsored by the American government and led by Saddam. As to the matter of protecting the American way of life; protect it from what? Saddam and his minions had nothing to do with 9/11. The alleged perpetrator of that atrocity was bin laden so why didn't the swift arm of American retribution go knocking on the door of the house of Saud? This war is illegal. It's killing innocent civilians and scores of our soldiers. And for what? Oil, money and a foot on the doorstep of Iran, once the powers that be deem that Russia won't stand against the allies, should it be necessary to expand the boundaries of democracy once again.

No the US is not fascist, and the number of Iraqi's being displaced by the sectarian violence in that country is not because of US presence. No war is ever illegal.

You cheated: asking two questions and only getting charged for one.
Obviously the US is not a fascist country. Look up the definition of "fascist" in a dictionary. You can find one on line by doing a Y! search with the word "dictionary."

The war in Iraq is being waged by a coalition of countries, with as many as 60 participants. There is nothing illegal about the war. I think I smell a liberal here.

Before you go spreading this crap. Talk to someone who immigrated here from Iraq. They still have family there. Find out what is REALLY going on. They are FAR better off than they were under Saddam.

Of course you will drink the liberal Kool-aid and stay uninformed.

So....if facists always deny the truth, and you are denying the truth...are you now claiming that you are a facist?

outta here...you should change your name to "out there" I find it so amusing that you blame Bush for ALL casualties in Iraq, when the reality is that the vast majority of the casualties are the fault of the insurgents themselves. But of course morons like you are part of the "blame America first" crowd and the "blame anyone but the guilty...they are just misunderstood" crowd. ID10T

No we are not a Fascist country. Do you even know what fascism is? America is a Representative Republic. I would suggest that you do some reading on the subject.

Funny how a fascist power hellbent on global domination can't keep schmucks like you silenced!

No. As a country, we don't tend to fascism.

Our current President, though, is the biggest terrorist in the world.

Forget al-Queda, forget the PLO and all the others. Bush has killed more people in Iraq than any terrorist group has ever done - total.

facist or no facist , it started a stupid and illegal war . Saddam could have died of old age and no US soldiers needed to be killed for nothing.
