My dog is not good with children. He's 9 yo and has never lived with kids and on the occasions that children are around I watch him closely because I know that he is capable of fearful aggression. I don't allow him around small children at all. He doesn't lunge or attack, but he'll nip and snap at fingers

When my roommate moved in a year ago, I informed her of this and if she ever had any kids over when I wasn't home she needed to put my dog in my room. Her nephew who is almost 3 comes over often and she disregards my instructions. I think she's simply too lazy to do it. The dog bit him once but didn't break the skin, she still doesn't listen. It makes me nervous because the child has a habit getting too close to the dogs face and putting his hands in the dogs face, which is how he got bit. The little boy is not adequately supervised.

If something were to happen would I be liable, given that I've warned her? The kids mother knows about this too.

My reasoning is thus, prove me wrong:
Immigrants are taking jobs Americans dont want to do, and employers are unable to pay higher wages AND stay profitable.

Therefore, immigrants are not only contributing by way of laborforce to this country's day to day needs, but also by propping up business that would otherwise be defunct if left to pay 16.00$ an hour to wash toilets.....

after 911 bush had a REPUBLICAN congress for 6 years. He decided not only to NOT seal the borders but grant amnesty to millions of illegals. Is this the reason why?

Do you think it's rediculous to deport him to Mexico? The media won't talk about the drastic difference in living conditions and I think that is a valid point. do you? hasn't political correctness gone tooooo far?!
Our governor isn't quite sure what he can do about it even though he's the only one who we all know CAN do something about it.
Has anyone been following this?

I think that politicians making a statement like “Our way of life” have us believe that we must agree with them. Somehow, the word “our” allures us to find the actions of the politicians justifiable—like wars.

i didn't want to dis on the caths in-particular. i think all of the religions are nut cases. I am an equal opportunity agnostic ;)

Because of Bush many young men died early, no weapons of mass destruction can be found, also the economy and the health care have been terrible. September 11 took place under his leadership. Things can get any worse. I believe George Bush was the worst president ever and should have been impeached long time ago. Do you agree with me?

Today the median income for a fully employed male is $41,670 per year (all numbers are inflation-adjusted to 2004 dollars)—nearly $800 less than his counterpart of a generation ago.

_Just going with the "facts" since many conservatives like to say we're doing better than our parents generation did. Let the lies stop with the numbers.

What's the worst that could happen, the Earth and our environment would be cleaner? We would break our dependence on foreign oil and all oil for that matter? Corporations would actually have to accept responsibility for their actions and upgrade to more environmentally friendly standards and regulations? We would develop new technologies, which through research and development would create jobs, the manufacturing of those new products would create jobs, the installation of those new products would create jobs and the maintenance of those new products would create jobs? Even IF Global Warming is wrong, there are far more advantages to becoming more environmentally friendly than there are disadvantages, don't you think? Why are so many of you against protecting the environment? The environment belongs to us ALL, not just the rich corporations.
