I'm victimized by idotic questions on yahoo.
And all the bad things I've heard/seen about liberals.......It's true...it's all true. There's no good that can come from such a selfish mentality as cowardly liberalism.

I am not a Republican, but I do believe that by and large the media is liberal. Most college campuses are also. As for criticizing minorities who claim they are victims the answer is as follows. I will criticize anyone who uses excuses in life. I don't deny that racism still exists, but I know too many minorities who have worked hard, gained an education and rejected the it's all because I'm (pick a color) excuse who are leading very productive and prosperous lives. However, I criticize minorities less than enablers. In the case of many minorities they are products of their upbringing and have been told all their lives that the system is against them. This creates a self fulfilling prophesy and is somewhat excusable. In the case of enablers, they harbor some deep seated guilt for whatever reason and by telling people they cannot achieve through hard work and persistence they do more harm than good. People will always rise to the level of expectation which is set. This is a proven and time tested fact.

Actually being a minority and a republican I can tell you that your statement is generally untrue.
What I criticize and hear others criticize are the people who claim victim hood BECAUSE they are minorities.
I am Hispanic, I never asked for special treatment, if I did poorly in school it was because I knew I was not performing, not because some one was holding me back.
I am very open about my heritage and no one has ever degraded me because of my Hispanic background or implied I got to where I was because of special treatment. I mean why should they? I got to where I was by earning it not by demanding it should be mine because I am what I am.
That’s the only real criticism I have ever really heard. Of course there are extremists (on both sides) who like to provoke a situation, but generally speaking it is not the feeling of all Republicans.
As for why do Republicans complain of bias, that’s simple? Take the case of the "Parody" anti-Islamic posters put up at George Washington U. The posters claimed to be from a conservative group in school. The poster made vile and highly inaccurate statements about Muslims and the position of the conservative group. Now had the posters been real they would have been treated as a hate crime, the publishers and distributors could have expected suspension and expulsion (as the University threatened to do). How ever it was quickly discovered to be the work of a liberal anti-war group in school who claimed it was all in fun. The punishment? Achedemic probation (i.e. "don't do it again you naughty boy”) and a $25 fine.... What happened to the suspension the school promised for the perpetrators?
Now tell me that does not sound like clear bias and a reason why Republicans could claim to be discriminated against.

no, the media is unqestionably slanted(i watch and read a lot of news from many sources) to the left, republicans complain when minorities aimlessly play the race card when they ARE NOT actually being victimized, while affirmative action destroys the spirit of competition that our country was founded on...Jesse Jackson and his ilk are stupid people, who cannot argue or defend a point without screaming RACISM...hows that?

A legitimate claim is one thing...playing the race card to get something for nothing is another.
Facts support claims, not whining. So in regards to your comparison, the facts support the claim about the liberal biased media , ergo, it's not whining !

Republicans are always the victim in their fantasy world. It's like when they cry about political correctness while slamming Islam, gays, etc. Let someone criticize conservatives or their religion, however, and the back of their wrist goes straight to the forehead.
Take the recent Folsom Street Fair poster flap, cons were crying like babies--yet not a peep about their version of political correctness.
