Rhymes and slogans take a lot of thought.

Both sides use them well.

I'm not stating this because of party affilation (I'm an independent), but you can't single out either party when it comes to this, ryhmes and slogans have been used in politics for a century or longer. They have always been part of politics, and both parties have used them. They are catchy, easy to remember, and get the point across, that's why they have been used in politics for so long.

It seems a lot of them just don't understand the concept of reason. They believe if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. These idiots are still throwing around Vince Foster conspiracy theories. The hard-core Republican cultists are simply beyond help. They can't be reasoned with. No amount of evidence will convince them.

That's not a question. It's a statement with a question mark at the end.

For instance,"Why do liberals feel rather than think?"

they like to just hear something and believe it, rather than hear something, think about it, criticize it, fact check it, and then decide what they believe.

they're too busy hating everyone who isn't republican to think about why they hate the people they hate, and why they do the things they do.

slogans only neatly wrap these feelings of hate into nice little things they can remember and spout off at the drop of a hat.

Same reason they watch Fox; they want to be entertained and validated, not challenged and informed.

Bumper sticker speak is for stupid people.
Don't think it's a left/right thing just a smart/stupid thing.
