Does the media have the right to only present both and all sides or make money too from being highly politically involved, without necessarily telling you how or what to do, and why?

I recently wrote my friend a letter in prison and in it I said somethings that I don't know if a gaurd would look at as bad or something not to worry about.

I was writing my friend telling him I was going to take a class in law enforcement next term in college to learn more about law. However I also told him that I didn't want to become a cop because I didn't want to be shot.

Would a gaurd view that as bad or contraband??? I didn't mean anything by it nor did I really think that would be bad, but what I was refering to was the gun use cops have to deal with in their jobs...I was talking about how didn't want to risk being shot at. However now that I look at the letter, I'm worried that it might be taken the wrong way... =/

Would you question it? (I'm just an innocent white girl trying to get her education...) If they did question it, what would they do to me? I hate cops...I don't want another one at my house.

My parents would have a fit.

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks =)

You don't have to change doctors.

"If you have a plan you like, you keep it. If you want to change plans or aren't currently covered, you can choose from dozens of the same plans available to members of Congress, or you can opt into a public plan option like Medicare. And working families will get tax credits to help pay their premiums."

Hi I am not making a point. I was riding my bicycle on the sidewalk & there was also 5 white guys walking on the sidewalk. A police car stop me. Then the 2 police offiers they arroach me ask me question where I was from,were I live & ask me if I was a immigrant??? First I thoght they were looking for a person but, I was wrong. I told them who I was & I even show them my ID. I CAN'T belive they ask me if I was a immigrant. I told them that I am Spanish American. Then they let me go.

I don't understand why & why me instead of those 5 white guys? Last week, when I was on my way home from work, I got stop buy cops again. I got stop is because I did not have a horn or ring bell on my bicycle? I think it was full BS & they told me that they have to check my record & backpack & my pockets to see if I had drugs???

Why this **** happens to me? Now, I am scare to go out & I pray to God that nothing happens to me. I just talk to my family friend for help & get me a lawyer just in case.

My question is whether it is more beneficial for the movement to follow the instructions of police (not blocking road ways etc) and avoid criticism from other factions of the public and not alienate moderates or is it better to use force (non-violent) to make a bigger statement and gain more media coverage even though some of it will be negative.

All arguments about government's role in caring for human beings touch on this question. If government won't care for the mentally retarded, the mentally ill, the gravely disabled-if the government won't help these people-then who will?

Their families? That's great if they have such families--but what if they don't?

For me they are related: that Americans are generally trusting people who have a deep sense of fairness and decency.

Sometimes however, we trust too much in people and thus do we fall prey to sociopaths with power.
