With the holidays coming around .. i want to drink, but I also want to limit myself so I can legally drive without getting a DUI because cops will be out specifically for this. Considering that beer is about 5% alcohol and the legal limit in california is .08% alcohol by blood volume.. approximately how many beers could I have over a given period of time to be legally okay to drive?

The place where I work doesn't allow anyone to where shirts with any print on it, even if it isn't offensive (sexually, or bad language).
Is this legal? I can't even where religious shirts.

Instead bush honoured 4 waco texas soldiers, and gave rhetoric about honouring the soldiers.

Is this the final straw or will bush supporters still try to argue for him?

OR was it that bush -- seeing how he never erved honourably in vietnam and isnt a combat war veteran is actually alittle disgraced by attending such ceremonies, because it shows he couldnt stomach what he makes our soldiers do
AND
people will only be reminded how he failed to show patriotism during vietnam when it was his time to show his love for this country.

I was shocked when i was in the US to discover that news in the USA does not give a true picture of what is happening in the world like the way BBC and Al Jazeera and to a limited degree CNN (international) do. May be it explains why the majority of Americans actually believed that Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11 yet the rest of the world knew otherwise.

When arresting someone, what exactly is the legal phrases that the policeman read to the accused to protect his constitutional rights according to the USA law?
And do the policemen really say it to the arrested person? Or they consider it some unimportant formalities?

What do you think of some countries banning rappers and thinner models from their countries because of the affect it would have on the children? I think it is rubbish because if they really wanted to protect children from harmful events shouldn't they also ban motorcycle racing and all the car races. Im sure a lot more kids would die from speeding than copying models and rappers.

My best friend is lesbian and she is not American. She is here to visit me. In her country, homosexuals are hugely discriminated and even physically abused. I want her to stay in America, legally. How does one go about it? Is discrimination and abuse based on sexual orientation good reason to make her get legal status to stay here? Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks!

I wanted to know the work schedule of a police officer. What days and hours do you work? And do you have a social life, like go out on the weekends and do other stuff or are you always working? Do you have the choice of arranging your own work schedule or do they give you some crappy *** work schedule? My main question is do you have the weekends off?

Okay, say for example, a person has been caught water their gardens under water restrictions and has been caught (this is Australia I'm talking about by the way). Obviously, they'll receive an on the spot fine but I was wondering, would you receive a criminal record? Or is it one of those minor things that they don't really care about?

Any answers will be appreciated. Thankyou!

I've been wondering about this lately: I'm 17, and my boyfriend is 16. He lives in the U.K., where he is of legal age. However, I live in America, where I won't be legal for another year. If we were to have sex right now, would we be breaking some law?

In all seriousness, what sense does it make for a democracy to vest this much power in the hands of a single person? So long as the Congress passes a law that passes constitutional muster, why should the president be able to say no? (And, by implication, allow a minority, rather than a majority, dictate national policy.)
