nicely, 3 issues: a million) we don't get oil from Libya or Iraq. in no way have. That oil is going to Europe. Why? look at a map. united statesa.'s dependence on foreign places oil is a good sized concern, definite. however the oil we import comes only approximately totally from the Western Hemisphere, particularly Mexico and Venezuela. 2) The Libya challenge is nt a conflict -- it somewhat is a revolution against a dictatorship. NATO has presented air help in basic terms - and the US in basic terms logistical help after the 1st couple of weeks. We (us of a) are actually not in a "conflict in LIbya" and have not been. 3) we don't actual choose greater oil. The technologies obtainable now makes it achievable to shrink gas intake by using 2/3 (yest, 2-thirds) over the subsequent couple of many years -- and the automakers have agreed to enforce that technologies.

You need to wake up. If we are stealing oil, then why is gas almost 4.00 a gallon? Who are you kidding. We have oil in our own country, but can't drill for it. Because of idiots. Maybe you are on of them. Tree hugger freaks. What is destroying this country is a bunch of Liberal freaks that can't admit that we have a problem lurking around the corner. Which is called Terrorists. You don't worry about that. Not that I like Bush, I don't. But he had the balls to stand up. If we were not in Iraq and Afghanistan then this crap would be here in our own country. Just think, if Hillary becomes President we won't have a country. Worry about that one. Who will she pick as Vice President? She can't pick Bill since he was President. If something happens to Hillary, that #itc$ Pelosi will become President! Better to wait one more year and hope and pray that Hillary doesn't win.

The country runs on oil,
so it's certainly worth some effort on our part to maintain the flow.
What this country needs is fewer left wing nut jobs who prefer shameless demagoguery over practical energy policies.
Those people lining up for Xboxes & Iphones mean the ecomomy is doing well. Want to see empovrished grandchildren, turn the ecomomy over to the Al Gore Socialists who hypocritically wave the banner of environmentalism.

First, I just want to congratulate you for memorizing the extreme fanatical liberal left's play book, and regurgitating their talking points and spewing word vomit all over the internet like a good little robot.
Now, I'm going to ask you the same thing I ask every liberal who keeps using the "omg we went to war for OIL" argument.
So what if we did?
What are YOU willing to give up so we do not ever have to fight over a precious, diminishing resource again? Are you going to quit working, quit driving, quit heating your house, quit cooking food for your children and live in the primitive dark ages? I most seriously doubt it.
Face it, you use oil. Every single person in this country uses it in one way or another. You LOVE oil too. Therefore, YOU are also fighting for oil, and you will continue to until we find an alternate energy source or you release us from the ridiculous environmental nutcases that will not allow us to build more nuclear power plants.

Oil is more expensive when it runs out already. Thus, money is nothing when there is no more oil. While the oil in Iraq is being used, the oil reservations in the US still remain untouched. The US benefits from the Iraq war but it costs trillions of dollars.

Your rants and totally devoid of logic thinking reveal how mindless liberals REALLY are !
If the oil was stolen, then I guess Iraq wouldn't need to guard it's oil fields with it's own security forces- but they are !
"Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you the fool, than open it and remove all doubt." Guess you blew THAT one !

You are right...he vetoed the bill today. The damage this man has done to our country is immeasurable and we will not live long enough to dig ourselves out of the hole he put us in. It will be up to our kids, their kids, their kids, etc. China already owns a big piece of us in loans. It scares me to death to think of the damage he can still do before his term is up...and, if he can conjure up an big emergency, he can remain in office even longer! It certainly is a crime against America!
ADD: The conservatives here have an unreal admiration of Bush and his miserable decisions...I don't know why, but I know they refuse to face the truth about him or the war. Your view mirrors that of most Americans!
