Instead bush honoured 4 waco texas soldiers, and gave rhetoric about honouring the soldiers.
Is this the final straw or will bush supporters still try to argue for him?
OR was it that bush -- seeing how he never erved honourably in vietnam and isnt a combat war veteran is actually alittle disgraced by attending such ceremonies, because it shows he couldnt stomach what he makes our soldiers do
AND
people will only be reminded how he failed to show patriotism during vietnam when it was his time to show his love for this country.

Can you all see the hate in Bush supporters?
Hate, War, fear mongering is all they know.
But when the time comes to pick up a weapon and fight for your country..where are all of them?
Hiding behind a computer, or heading for canada!

Warren D -- wheres your common sense.
Photo ops and rhetoric dont prove anything about Bush, when his actions truly and clear speak otherwise.
Its amazing how bush has fooled 20% of the population into devoutly supporting his every action.
Tell me Warren -- who were the presidents that didnt honour the tomb of the unknown soldier.
you say bush is not the only one...so tell me who else choose not to?
Do you know, or are you just trying to create arguement?
And Bush's National guard service is adeqaute for you?
HE was stationed at a non deployable unit.
He was technically AWOL
He choose to leave, had friends pull strings, so he could start his political career.
You might be a vet...but like Insane McCain...
we appreciate your service, but youre thoughts are alittle out there my friend.
You need to check your facts first, then show your arguement after -- if you can.
BUT anyone trying to support Bush -- let alone his military service -- is not too well informed

P>S> TO PHEONIX --
I Agree Bush isnt stupid -- hes evil
That really your arguement..bush i scared of public appearance out of fear of terrorist?
With the best equipment and personnel guarding him..wheres youre brain?
Would mean he would never make another appearance again.
But contrary what you like to think about bush -- a president who doesnt feel the need to answer questions as public servant, shows more than terrorist, he cant stand questions from the public that force him to speak of his actions.
Like if most americans cant already see through his ruthlessness.

Bush himself doesn't even know why he put soldiers to war in the first place. But this is still quite surprising.
I think he has just given up. I bet he can't even wipe his own butt. And he's spent a lot of time taking dumps all over what our country stands for.
History books in the future will put his presidency in the same section of world leaders that Hitler is in. He has done nothing but have America lose all the respect it's earned in the past.

How many presidents have actually placed the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknowns on Veterans' Day?
I doubt if this is the first or last time a president has missed that opportunity.
Prior to and during the Veterans Day weekend, Mr. Bush visited wounded soldiers at military hospitals, including the one at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio. He has spent a lot of time with active service people as well as wounded ones. He has visited troops in the combat area.
I don't think he is a perfect man or a perfect president, but he honors soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. By the way, I am a Vietnam veteran, and I am satisfied that his National Guard service adequately served the purpose of military service.
In this I agree with John McCain, a former POW and decorated Vietnam hero.
You might accuse the president of many things, but don't stoop to accusing him of not being patriotic.
You will no doubt continue your own "rhetoric" (did you find a dictionary?) against Mr. Bush, and that is certainly your right. But you might want to do a little more homework in the future.

Hey man this is a serious thing. Bush is an idiot but now he's proven he's a royal *** as well. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Cheney at the Tomb of the Unknown. Our commander in chief is beyond the pale and should be held to task for this offense!

bush ain't so stupid.
he has to and has been administering some pretty unpopular stuff on the global stage. there are all kinds of terrorists who would assassinate him at the first opportunity. i'd say that his public appearances need to be kept to a minimum because each one would be at major expense to the tax payer.
are you getting all this? he is your commander in chief. try to consider that he's not there just to spoil you rotten. cut the guy some slack!
