In the history of the US, never has a majority Democratic Congress, ever balanced the Federal Budget.

Why is that ?

Let's say Jack and Bob are buyers and sellers. Jack wants to sell his house and Bob wants to buy it. They both write up a contract for sale and sign it but said the price will be set later. A week later Jack decides not to sell it and doesn't tell Bob.
Bob takes jack to civil court. Who wins this case and why? Do they actually have a contract or since they didn't set a price so they don't? What are the legal principles?

is the new tactic of the left to talk about what money has been spent on the war?

the fact is the war has been going on for a bunch of yrs now 4 or 5 and in that time has only spent what welfare and medicare pays out every year

so why cant they just say " yes we are making progress , bless our troops , they are doing a great job"?

together we stand divided we fall and the left is trying to knock those dominos down

Okay I'm in the army and getting ready to go to the promotion board for sergeant. I only have 2 weeks to prep (I got informed last minute). I'm pretty bad with memorization and I just am trying to find any tips anyone has on prepping for and the actual board itself. Alright thanks.

My girlfriend recently showed me a quote by General George Patton, saying “Give me an army of West Point graduates and I'll win a battle. Give me a handful of Texas Aggies, and I'll win the war.”
I checked his bio, and saw nothing indicating any particular ties to Texas A&M, so I'm wondering what his motivation was for making this statement. Anyone know the history behind this quote?
